The shrink wrap oven idea saves so much money! Thank you
They look fantastic. I’d never realised frosted could look so good 😊
Thank you so much!
Courtney I love your videos. They are by far the best on sublimation tumblers. Thanks again.
Aww, thank you!!💜💜
Super cute! Love these 🤍 Just ordered some can’t wait to get them!!
Thank you!! They’re so fun to make!!
They’re beautiful!! Love them!!! 💜💜💜💜
Thank you!💜💜💜💜
Amazing!! We have those blanks too! Love your works!🥰
Courtney I love your page! Everytime I need new ideas I come to your page. Of course I try to put my touch on things, but you are awesome! I just bought a sublimination kit that comes today and I am so excited to give it a try.
Aww I’m so glad!
Omg my tape kept popping off of my frosted glass cans in the air fryer. I never thought about shrink wrapping them. Thanks so much!
They look great. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks for watching!
Those are gorgeous Courtney! I have not jumped on the sublimation bus..
Thank you! Omg it’s so fun!
Love them thanks for sharing this
Thank you 💜
Just ordered mine, those are adorable
Thank you!
Hi Courtney thanks for sharing your technique. I was impressed with your shrink wraps so I looked them up. It recommends on 300 degrees for 3 min. Did yours melt at your 425?
I’m afraid to go that high because mine always melts snd tears away over 305 degrees. Please advise ❤
So cute!
Thank you!!
Omg so cute!😍
Thank you 💜
Super Cute!
Thank you!!
Love it!!
Thank you!!
I have ordered from Ava Janes blanks months ago when I was dabbling with sublimation and I loved Ava Janes blanks. Reasonable and fast shipping too! I just ordered some of these glasses after your inspiration!!
can you do
20/30 oz tumblers in here as well and did u rotate it at any point??
Sublimation is so fascinating! Someday I will get my poop in a pile and learn it! Thank you for another perfect video!
It’s so fun you will love it!
what is the specific black and decker convection oven? what settings do you use on it?
I tried it and the image looks good but I am
Having a hard time peeling some of the wrap, I think it over cooked lol, is there a way to save this cup? Let me know
So cute
Thank you 💜
Hi! Where do you get frosted cups in bulk? I’m trying to find at a good price and it’s been difficult to find at a good price to sell.
Anyone know if I can use a silicone wrap instead of the shrink wrap?
Once you’ve converted the printer to sub can it be used as a normal paper printer anymore?
Love these!!! I’m still new to the sublimation world. Do you have to use the heat gun, or can you just put the shrink sleeve in the oven and let the oven work it’s magic?
Thank you!! I’ve tried both ways, I prefer to use a heat gun first but I don’t think it matters lol
What software do you use for the print? Also, you mention a video that shows how to convert the printer can you link it?
Can you use butcher paper instead of the shrink wrap sleeves?
Can you use the painters tape with the glass tumblers? I am struggling getting the paper tight enough….. thank you for all your videos !
I wouldn’t recommend it. Try shrink wrap sleeves!
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE ❤️❤️❤️
You are so welcome!
Love these super cute.
Is there a reason why you did different temperature settings for both mugs? Also could you do an detail video of your Shed or just where and how you store everything, like inventory ?
Thank you! I just wanted to try different settings to see if the outcome would be any different. And I have a video of when we remodeled the shed and all of the information about what we did for the inside and how I store things. Not sure if that is helpful or if you have already seen that one or not💜
@@CourtneysCustoms oooo yay!!! Is it already on your channel or coming? Either way can’t wait it check it out.
Yess you answered my question 💕☺️
Are you able/tried to put shrink wrap on a Tumbler Heatpress? If so how long and what temp do you suggest?! Great video btw!
I have not!! Ironically I have a tumbler press video coming out tomorrow lol!! But I didn’t use the shrink wraps
This is so awesome. I wonder if you could use these cups in the cricut mug press 🤔
I’ve heard of it being done!!
Yes you can i have done it
i saw this 1 on amazon used!
do u think it will work
Do you have a link for the sublimation paper you used for this?
Hi! Do you need to seal them after with anything?? Or are they good to go!?
They’re good to go!
Amazing! I love your video! If anyone is interested I’m actually a glass can wholesaler and I have frosted glasses
Very cute.. do you think they can be used in the mug press
Maybe! I sold mine so I’m not sure lol
These look like so much fun. Do you have a YT on how to mirror your images on Cricut.
They are!! And once you hit print, there will be an option to mirror it before printing
Did you rotate your cup at all when it was in there? Looks beautiful 🥰
No I did not. Thank you 💜🥰
I have DTF ink will that work?
Hii! I was looking at your list for shrink wrap. What size did you buy?
I got the 5x10 inch
Can this use for candle?
I got.mine from Ava Jane's Blanks also!!
She’s got great prices!
@@CourtneysCustoms I'm really impressed with her products and shipping is fast!
When I have used the shrink wrap on my tumblers and put them in my convection oven, it melts the shrink wrap where it touches the wire rack. Does yours not melt??
Maybe in a couple spots here and there but not too much
Do you have to use the shrink wrap and is it just in an oven or do you have to use them in a tumbler press as well?
You don’t have to use shrink wrap but you definitely can! And yes these can be used in a tumbler press
Thank you so much
One more question. Is a toaster oven the same as a convection oven?
We’re these cups frosted using sandblasting or spray? Will it work the same with either? What kind of printer did you use for the images?
I’m not sure, they were frosted when I got them
And for the images I used an Epson et 2720
@@CourtneysCustoms thanks.
I have a question. I’ve had the shrink wrap stick to my glass cans. How do I get it off? I have tried scraping and scratching. I don’t want to ruin the cup or remove the sublimation coating. Any ideas?
Maybe you baked too long or too hot? It shouldn’t stick
Love your videos!! New to this….do you need to epoxy over it ?
Thank you! No epoxy needed for sublimation 💜
Where can I order the pictures at where I don’t have to print them
How to remove the sublimation ink from the frosted cup??
I commented and forgot to ask a question 😂😂 what size image did you make for the 16oz ? And where did you get the images ? TIA
Lol!! I believe they were about 3.5 inches tall. And the image is from creative Fabrica
Question, I typed printers for sublimation and the cannon wireless photo printer popped up. Is this printer an option?
Not that I know of. As long as it’s an eco tank printer it’s good for sublimation
How do you know how big to print the images? How do you measure the skinny cups and the frosted glass ones?
I use a soft measuring tape
Do all sublimation inks work for this? Is there a brand you suggest? I just purchased a eco tank printer. Thank you
So you dont need a mug or tumbler press? You can use a convection oven?
Yes! Either one works great
Do you need the specific kind of ink or the stock Epson ink is ok
You need sublimation ink
I have an unrelated question about power wash tumbler. I tried it and the paint came off with the soap. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong🤷♀️ I did it just like the videos but the paint wouldn’t stick🤷♀️
Hmm, what kind of soap and paint are you using?
@@CourtneysCustoms I was using Dawn power wash and rustolium mat black
I'm sorry if you've already addressed, but what size dimensions are both of your designs? Especially the coffee one.
I didn't catch sizing either
I have a problem with the tape leaving a partial ghost image. Do you ever have this problem? I can see the outline of the tape after removing . Also the glass scratches SO easily
Hmm, maybe it’s just the kind of tape? Are you baking for too long? I haven’t had that issue
Mine is a Epson F170 and its actually a sublimation printer 399.00
What size of shrink wrap did you use?
5x10 inch. I have a link in the description for them.
I tried my first sublimation using a conventional oven and on the edge of the glass a small piece of the shrink wrap stuck to the glass do you know why this happen not sure what I did wrong
Could be too high of a temperature or not good quality shrink wrap
Thank you
I bought mine on Amazon and it says do for 5 min at 325 I don’t see how that’s hot enough to sublimate
Hi, love your cups. I have them. What temp and mins? Sorry, I’m deaf.
Thank you! 425° for 5 minutes was the one I think turned out best!
Can u use the sleeve even with a press?
Yes
Can I do this with mason glass jars
I don’t believe so
Is the image printed on regular paper and regular ink
Sublimation paper and sublimation ink
How do you prevent the frost from coming off?
Don't scrub it ,hand wash only (no dish washer) the frosting shouldn't come off if you do these things/avoid these things.
What size is the image?
Same question I have
Can you put several mugs in the oven at once?
Yes
What were the measurements for the image
My only concern is about the frosted glass reacting to the heat tape. It looks like that's not an issue. (I know, how else would you stick down the design, but have never used the frosted glass.)
It doesn’t effect it at all💜
@@CourtneysCustoms Thanks to watching your video, I gained enough confidence to complete my first 2 projects! So glad you posted this video.
What kind of heat gun do you have?
A cheap one from amazon lol!
What size you print your design for this please?
I believe it was 4x3
You are so sweet. Enjoyed your video very helpful.
Thank you so much 💜
Are these hand wash only?
Yes
Are these dishwasher safe?
No hand wash only
So the shrink wrap didn't stick on the glass like it does on the regular tumblers interesting.
Oh my gosh hun, i love you but get yourself a tape dispenser. It will save you so much time and its not expensive. Hit up amazon girl. Another tip is peel that paper and wrap off asap. It will make the image crisper. If you leave it on until it cools, the ink continues to transfer and can make smudged lines. Yours look awesome though! Get it girl! (#newfollower)
Tried this and it burned. Not sure what went wrong. I bought everything in this video.
Do you have the same brand of glass jar?
Wait so you don’t need a circuit machine to do this you can literally put it in an oven???? Interesting 🤔
If you do this, make sure it's an oven that you don't put any food in, because the fumes from the sublimation inks do affect the food's quality.
Are those drinking glasses?
Yes
