- Hey y'all! Back with another fun and short craft, today I'm sublimating on a frosted Libby beer can glass for the first time! These cups are super trendy right now and I've been seeing a ton of people rave about them, so when I came across some on Amazon, I added to the cart and ordered immediately!

Nifty looking cups, I'll have to give them a try !
Great tutorial! Also, LOOOVE the subtle nod to "Gilmore Girls" with the coffee quote!!
I LOVE those frosted beer glasses!! Perfect for iced coffee!!! 🧊 ☕️ 💗 💯

Perfect!! I wish i would've watched this before i tried my first one!
Uh oh, what happened?
I love them❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you!!
On procreate do you have a preference on which color profile to use? Also what dimensions? I really enjoyed your informative video 😊
The glasses came out nice.
I know right?! Thanks!
Love the turn out! What size do you cut down to?
If your sublimating only on one side do you still press it twice at 180 seconds?
Very nice, I love to do this where can I buy the machine? Thank you
do you have problem with uvdtf / vinyl on can glass with ice water? because I do, my uvdtf is peeling off because of the ice water..any tips?
Hello! This is amazing. I started to do these as well but I’ve been getting condensation bubbles during the heating process. What tips would you recommend to avoid that? Because when I reveal it looks like the ink smudged
Thanks! I haven't seen that happen on mine so not 100% sure but I would try the following: wipe your tumbler with some rubbing alcohol and let it completely dry (might be some moisture or residue on them), make sure you let your printed design completely dry before wrapping it, make sure you wrap it as tight as you can, and don't remove the design until the glass has completely cooled. Hope this helps!
Where did you get the designs you used. I love them.
were can i buy sheets that have designs on them already to sublimate. im trying to start out so i am not able to get a sublimation printer yet
When I tape right on the frosted glass like this it leaves tape marks behind... any suggestions?
What kind of paper you use for design?
How do you know how much pressure is too much or not enough? My designs don't seem to transfer all that well
hi Thank you for the video , very informative! I tried to do the frosted tumbler but my black designs are looking brown on the frosted..any advice on what i could be doing wrong?
If the black is more of a brown/tan it means it's burnt and you need to try a lower temp and/or time. If it has a green-ish tint to it, it means it needs more time. Black is the hardest color to sublimate 100% perfect, sometimes it takes a little experimenting.
@@CreativelyErica thank you so much, I'll try it for a lesser time and see!
@@CreativelyErica Hi, do you have any recommendations for where to buy both the clear and the frosted cans? I got my clear cans from amazon and after sublimating i see the tape marks on it as well as the paper marks (is that normal and if so how do i remove those marks?) Im using the A sub sublimation paper and heat tape.. Thanks in advance!
Do you sell your png drive? Just starting off but looking for drives to purchase. :) the cups looks great btw.
I do have some digital designs available for download on my site (creativelyerica.com) thanks!
What sublimation ink are you using? My images come out very dull. It's not bright like yours.
What is the purpose of the parchment paper or butcher paper?
Hello Erica :D !
Can you use silicone mug wrap instead of parchment paper?
Not sure, haven't tried those, I only use parchment on mine
@@CreativelyErica okay thanks 😄
Can you use permanent vinyl on these specific glasses ? I don’t think I’m ready for sublimation 😣
You definitely can on the non-frosted ones, I have a video on applying vinyl to those but I haven't tried vinyl on these frosted ones. I feel like the vinyl wouldn't stick as well honestly.
So no clear coat how does it not chip or scratch off in every day use im new at this
My blacks are coming more dark brown. What should i do? More or less heat/pressure?
Same temp and time as video.
I would try less time
everytime i do this i have tape marks left on the glass. i have tried a few different heat tapes and still happens. Would my pressure be too tight?
Oh wow, I haven't seen any on mine so I'm not sure but I would definitely try less pressure. If your design is coming out perfect I wouldn't mess with your temp or time. It has to be an issue with the tape or glasses
What size is this glass and what is the size of the design
❤
Do you need the transfer powder after you printed your images?
Nope
I always get tape marks on my glass cups 😭
180 sec!!
