I think instead of in part relying on watching if the spectator turns around the card you can instead lift up the card and show them and as you come down with the card casually rotate the card as you put it back into the deck. If you are going to rely in part on watching the spectator I think the riffle shuffle brings unnecessary attention to the deck because of the sound.Better to just simply rotate. Totally my opinion though. I had seen this principle with just 4 aces but never imagined it could apply to an entire deck. Great trick! Genius as always! Can’t wait for next weeks trick!

I really like this! I think I would use a different selection technique personally, just because to me the dribble choice always feels too much like a force, even if it isn't. And the beauty of this trick is that there really is very little force needed. Thanks for the videos!

Hi Nathan, thanks again for this excellent tutorial. I had 2 ideas though. 1) I think you can safely give the cards a riffle shuffle at the beginning without messing up your ordered section, and 2) you can ask your spectator to pick a number between 15 and 35 for the card selection.
The second one might be a little suspicious for the spectator. 15 -35 is such a strange number

Great idea but I would just let them choose a card rather than do a dribble. I assumed you simply did a dribble force and already knew what the card was (which would be another way to do it) so I thought "Not a great trick" Knowing the secret now, opens many possibilities. Thank you!

Good technique that can be used with any deck. But I prefer to use a Marked deck as it’s ready to go without any set-up and eliminates the things that can go wrong during the performance.

I loved this trick when I started. I use a cut force. "Cut off about half the cards. A few more or a few less is fine. Finish the cut. Take the top card." The best part of these simple tricks is each magician can adapt its performance to their personal style.

I do the same trick but with the Participant shuffling the cards first.
Then I glimpse the bottom card and force it. The effect is the same.
I mean you could do the same trick just with a key card and taking a peek at the selection then going from there
