I did this trick in front of my parents and it happened!!!!
Just for the gag , they told me the card 4 of Spades and I cut the deck and turned the card and it was 4 of Spades!!!!!! They were completely shocked and said , 'It is impossible'

i once did a trick where you are supposed to cut half the deck then get the card wrong. i got it right, it was a card they thought of and didn't even tell me, they went blitz.
if they name the first card as their second or 3rd card theres no need to do the palm...

When we are looking for their selection after turning the random card the spectator feels like we are turning their card at the moment. How can I perform this in a fluent way?

I caught it too. Most people won't notice, but if you do try to bet on this, make sure you can actually pay up if you get busted. And maybe only do it against people who don't watch lots of card magic videos on CZcams.

If you want to keep the spectator from selecting the top card the first time you put the cards behind your back, just take the card you selected from the 3rd failed attempt and put it on top of the deck. The spectator will not usually pick the card he just saw, but if he does you got it there.
