I’d like to argue that number 4 slightly contradicts number 3. If you’re always happy, that’s not realistic and you might come off as being “perfect”. Which as a result might lower your attractiveness.
It just imply that being mostly happy is better
Giving off good energy and happy vibe is important but showing that your life is not perfect, you are not perfect is great cause people start to make nonhuman expectations which you can't blame them for..

I'm curious about the red dress study. Did they make the two women swap dresses at any point and do an equal amount of meetings? What if the girl in red was just more attractive or seemed more inviting? That could cause the data to skew towards the red dress. Also, how big was the sample size?
I ask because find myself less attracted to red. So I wonder if I'm an outlier or it the study has some flaws in data collection.
I wonder if something else was going on there too. Any tips for someone that has been with someone for the past year and then suddenly broke up with me because she found someone better? Someone that ain't depressed and anxious and full of hate for themselves?
What can someone like me do when all those feelings and old memories are crushing me everytime I find a happy place for a couple of minutes? I can't show happiness if I'm never happy. I was until I got betrayed at least, I know how it feels to love and get loved but there's no way I will ever be able to trust someone again without thinking they'll leave as soon as they're done with me like my ex did. All I want is a friend that can chat with me even if it's 3 AM like it's right now but there's no such human on this planet that actually enjoys spending time with me so I don't think it's gonna happen.
Be the type of person/people you want to attract. Work on improving yourself for the better. What's happened has happened and now you can move forward to make your happy.
In today's time it is better to not have someone fall in love with us. Love, inevitably ends in emotional pain, especially today. It is much better to stay away from others, completely. More than just emotional pain, you could lose financial stability, personal affects, even your positive view on things. I dress as bland as I can, never speak, and never show emotions. I can guarantee nobody would want anything to do with me, nor fall in love with me. Add the fact that I am rectally ugly, and I am safe from social predators that pretend to fall in love.
If you find someone your very in sync with you may feel at first as if it is uncanny as you know your own flaws.
The smart choice if you are good friends is to understand the underlying friendship, you should ask them if they share the feeling, but also hold no shame in platonic love if you feel consummate love is not right even if the kick from your infatuation felt profound.
You literally just gotta start by becoming really good friends with them, I had a crush for a around 2 years, talked to her a little here and there but not much. I was friends with her brother and we ended up getting a group chat with my sister, her, her brother and sister. Anyway we all talked a lot on there and started talking more in person, once in a while i would sneak a way to start a convo in her DMs, eventually we got to the point where we would stay up super late talking, and eventually I slipped up a big hint to who my crush was (they would always try to guess who it was) and then i admitted to her. She said she started liking me when we were talking more and becoming better friends (her sister started liking me before her so the method seems to work). And another thing, i get you dont wanna get with someone who wants you just for your looks but obviously its still an important factor. Start working on bettering yourself, start lifting weights, try to get to a lower bodyfat %, take care of your skin and hair, simple stuff really. I had also found out she didnt really like skinny guys, she said she probabaly still would have liked me if i was skinny but think about it, if youre a guy just give it 1 year of lifting and that will separate you from most guys out there
I had fought with my crush recently, and then when I said sorry to her, I just told her that I love her and that I have always consider her as my best friend and she said that I am lying to get an apology 😔
