Anybody else feel like you could walk into any McDonalds and cover somebody's shift after watching these videos? Absolutely love this channel bro! Keep up the great work!
Things have really changed since I worked at McDonalds in 1975 and 1976. Back then they had actual grills where the burgers were grilled and flipped. The milkshakes were mixed on a spindle with syrup and ice cream. The apple and cherry hand pies were deep fried and really delicious. I worked as a closer too which meant every machine had to be broken down, washed, cleaned, sanitized and put back. Big Mac’s were 70 cents. Cheeseburgers were 35 cents. The cash registers only rang totals, they did not add your order, you had to add everything in your head or with a pen & paper. McDonald’s is a well organized business and yes, I still eat at McDonalds every now and again. Thanks for the video.
That must be one low volume restaurant if this is a busy day! I work at a high volume Mcdonalds here in Spain and i would kill for shifts like this one haha
Totalmente.
I worked third shift a while back at McDonald's. It was always interesting never knew what would happen. I remember to getting cussed out by customers. During the switch from dinner to breakfast it would be cash only while everything switched over. Watching your videos brings back memories of my time there. Then I moved from working third there to being a cook at Chili's. That's when I discovered I enjoyed cooking.
It's always great to see you work together with your team like a family. You're not bossing around, just giving everyone the order where they are in the shift... I always wonder how it would be working for/with you...
I enjoy the mutual respect and professionalism in your team. The employees seem to enjoy what they're doing and working with you. Great job, Stephen, and to your incredible team! It looks like a wonderful place to work!!
I was just commenting that. I work at a high volume McDonalds in Spain and our line has to move SO FAST and is just covered in buns, we have to move so quickly
I love your videos man, they make me so chill! I was wondering how long you’ve worked at McD and if you also worked the “old way” when burgers were made in batches instead of made to order. I worked at McD long time ago and would love to hear from someone who worked with both systems and can compare the two. Keep up the good work!!

I remember the old toaster machine we used to always drop so many regular buns

I was refusing to work there when I was 18 because of how people look down on fast food workers. I was too worried about what others would say. When I finally swallowed my pride I had so much fun I wish I would've done it sooner. I met some cool people & we had a lot of fun it almost didn't feel like work.
as someone who works there its not really as fun as it looks. at least at mine we have days that are busier than this but instead of being like this vid where everyone is nice and has good communication, people are just really toxic and yell at each other a lot. when it’s slow and you don’t have to rush then it’s pretty fun to work with the food yeah. idk i guess you just have to get lucky on who your coworkers are
I don't care what you are doing, I appreciate someone who is very good and passionate about what they do. It's engrossing for me to watch. I am the definition of a jack of all trades but master of none. I lose interest quickly and move on to other hobbies/jobs quickly much to my lovely wifes disappointment. All this to say I love your videos.
I would work at a McD, only if you (Mr. Patula) were the lead on the shift. You truly are a professional and sense of humor and how you conduct your self is an example for others employees to follow.
As someone who worked at this McD's for better then 4 years, IT'S NOT THAT EASY. Craziness day was when there was a major accident on the gas pipe line and all of the workers piled into here. Jada may remember.
Question about the cheese, is it supposed to be “American cheese” or more of a pasteurized “cheddar”??? I’ve tried other deli deluxe American cheeses but they are nothing like the ones McDonalds use
I used to be so good on table and the grill although I preferred the table because being on grill you'd had to have so much responsibility and at 16 that was rough. Should've quit when I started. The management where I worked was horrible, I made it to 3 years while I was in highschool
