Dog played uncharacteristically bad today, I think he just had one of those days. It happens to the best of us, and he’ll be back. Of course we wish he did better but, it’s going to be sad to see some of the comments because the expectations are so high that when a player has a bad day for whatever reason he is going to get slammed for it. I hope the community is just not entirely rude about him having a bad playing day.

It also has to be a little stressful to know that you basically have to be perfect against Fractal atm because he is just so fucking good after 29 without any limitations at the moment. Its has to be super frustrating, but its all mental. Dog has the talent, just seems like a hurdle he has to get over
Yeah I always had these days, most of the time its because of lack of sleep or if your tired.

Surprised about Dog's performance. I definitely thought he'd at least win one round. I was actually expecting this to go far beyond the beginning of KS for both competitors. It may have been the pressure of being around so many people. Congrats to Fractal!! I'll be rooting for you!
Fractal has the world record of 4 million points. He can pretty much survive level 30 speed until the game crashes. Can't beat someone like that.

My guess is the kid has a social life. He's in high school I believe. Probably doesn't have enough time to practice to keep up with the top ranked players. I like to see it as a good thing, in a weird way. Dog is still a champ. Can't take that away from him.

He'll win the world championship this year for sure. He can even glance away from his screen on level 30. Dude is a machine.
I agree he will bore it out forever with singles and doubles on 29 for as long as it takes to win... such a zzzzfest

I have to say, you have a great match and great commentary. But then the recording of the video and audio are so poor! Common you guys!
This audio is like that because of the noise gate that had to be used because of the crowd noise. Irl streaming does come with some caveats

@@thenrgdrink7694 Of course his loss means tournament has become more exciting as clear favorite is out so anybody could win. Also his status as 2nd best Tetris-player of all time (measuring official championship-results) goes in ice as well. There is one double-winner left in tournament if I'm correct.
