Really helpful. I hate working out and very much of a beginner, but have been pretty consistent on using my Oculus, but so frustrating going back and forth from my watch to my headset after each activity, so this was super helpful setting up shortcuts, and Siri.

I always forget to end my workout because i put it in lock during a workout😅 if I don’t lock it it messes up with my data (ends the workout, pauses it or even starts a new workout)
Try wearing the watch a bit tighter on your wrist.

Great video but the part I wanted I couldn’t do , I want to record multiple workouts and save as one , but my plus icon isn’t highlighted, so I can’t switch between exercises

Good episode Anthony, I have a question, I’ve been using my Apple Watch for almost 4 years and close my rings everyday. My floors reading seems oddly low, it’s been like this, but I see on other’s apps they are getting 10s of floors and I struggle to get a couple. What am I doing wrong. Thanks

This is helpful to try and decide whether to purchase an apple watch. I've been tracking skiing, hiking, and cycling using separate apps. It seems that they have apple watch apps so that makes the recording of workout in those areas easy. For my weekly training sessions I guess I can create a workout on the watch. I'm tending to buy this and apprciate this in depth look at the watch and how to set it up. I don't run at all (bad knees) so i've been looking over the workout types on the watch and am impressed with the variety. Thanks again. I just subscribed to your channel because I appreciate how you made your presentation without a bunch of hype and yelling at me as so many CZcams presentors do.
I don’t like when I do 2 workouts a day.. it only counts as 1… and don’t apply my data…

Your video is the ONLY video I have found that mentions halfway mark notification. Would you please elaborate on Outdoor Walk half way notification??? I have an Apple Watch 6 and for the life of me cannot figure out how to get the half way notification to work! I tried double tapping as suggested in your video. The watch immediately notifies “Segment 1” but gives no notification when I reach my halfway mark. I’m apparently doing something wrong. Your help is greatly appreciated!

How do you save a workout. When I end it, it’s gone! When I stop and let the watch end the workout when I stand still it save’s it. But it takes some seconds to do that, and I don’t want to lose some seconds. Can yo unhelpful me?

Hi! When I start a workout it keeps pausing the routine. Is there a way to avoid that, maybe to have a specific setting active?
I think, on the watch>settings>notifications>turn off, hope that helps...

Hi! I can see it’s been a year since you commented so you may have already worked this out 😂, but you could set up a focus to coincide with your workout.
Do I monthly need to pay for these fitness apps? Or there are some which I can use free? (I am talking about calorie count)
If you have an Apple Watch the Workout, Activity/Fitness and Health apps come with it completely free. The Workout and Activity apps are on the watch, Fitness and Health on the iPhone. The watch will measure your calories burnt each day but, of course, can’t measure the calories you consume.

Hello Antonio, thank you for the kind comment. Interesting about your faulty readings question. I recently ran an official event and my watch (series 7) measurement of the distance was about 0.5km off what the official measurement was. I put this down to GPS being slightly out. I’ve not heard anything particular about the Ultra.

U probably delete it , download it again go to App store> Search>shortcuts ...

Hi Chicha, the workout app is on the Apple Watch. Your workout results are then displayed in the Activity app which is on your iPhone.
I understand what he says about getting phone to do most of the hard work for saving battery but at the end of the day the phone is less accurate and I bought the watch for a reason lol 😂
What is "less accurate"? Surely it's things like cellular that will be off loaded.

Hi Casper, wow, that’s something I’ve never come across. Do you have the option in the health app? If you don’t have any data saved to the fitness app, you can try reinstalling it. Otherwise, I’m sorry, but I’m not sure 🤷♂️
