Looks like a lot of research went into accommodating different frame designs.
What happens when you have bigger bottom bracket shells like BB30s etc do you have adapters for those?
Hi, we use the standard 24mm bolt and slide on adaptors for each type of bb, Inc 30mm, gxp etc. bbs such as square taper etc we remove completely and fit a 24 mm bottom bracket temporary

I was advised once by a bike shop years ago to use coke IE the fizzy drink to remove a seized seatpost and it actually worked
I knew there was a tool for that. Great.

Cracking design, you should patent it 😉👍, unreal how efficient it is at removing them and really quite obvious in its method that I’m surprised the big boys like Park Tools hadn’t thought of it?
It is amusing that watching you’re streams also brings up other shops and ‘you tubers’ guides etc , one in particular was a Australian guy trying to remove a post which took him hours and was hilarious 😆 he got so hacked off with it 😂

Appreciate the detailed view of the beast. I wonder if there would be any benefit to “shoulder braces” over the top tube and the seat stays at the point where they meet the seat tube.
Essentially to reduce the stress on the bottom bracket.

That's a great tool for the job. If you don't have one, some caustic soda (lye, NaOH) will do the job as well.
If you do another one of these, consider including a message about greasing the seat post before installation to prevent galvanic corrosion.

I just removed a aluminium seatpost that was seized insite a carbom frame. Came out easy peasy, all you have to do is use a ice pack and wrap it around the part of the frame where the seatpost enters the frame, let it cool the carbon down for around 30min. - 1hr and then use a pair of grippers onto the seatpost and a rubber mallet and wack it left and right, if you see good movement then wack the grippers from underneath and presto the post comes straight out. I left my ice pack on for 20 minutes and 5 minutes later i managed to get it out without damaging the frame.

Hi, they come in a bigger internal size and we machine them to 27.2
How do you remove a post that has fallen entirely into the frame, its upper end about 4 inches below the seat tube of the frame? In my case, I am planning, after much effort and consideration, merely to leave the post in the tube and fit a new seat post into the frame. I shall use a reducing fitting to reduce the tube's diameter to only 1 mm greater than the new tube. I think that with a clamping collar on the the top of the tube the reducing fitting will be tightened enough to grab and hold the new seat tube rigidly. Leaving the old tube within the frame will add only a few ounces to the bike's weight. Your new tool for seat post removal is fine. Where in your study to you keep it?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Very tricky to remove if the post is still not very mobile within the frame. I dare say that If I inspected the frame etc I could make a tool to latch under the existing seatpost and maybe use a slide hammer. the cutting tool we have for post that need cutting out could also be used to still cut the post out. sounds trick though.
@3:30 don't quite understand what you're talking about. Are you saying the issue is for seatubes that don't intercept the bottom bracket at very top of the bb shell, but instead maybe shift forward or backward a bit? If so, ok, but the alternate holes are centimeters away, far more distance than the potential offset a seatube could intercept the bottom bracket by. Makes me think I don't understand what you mean.
This tool is amazing. I've only ever seen people use a reciprocating saw and slice the seatpost from the inside out to peel it out of the seattube. Not trivial to fabricate this -- I see a lot of small details that add up.

The bottom bracket is way off centre of the top section of the seat post, the top of the extractor has swivel to take this into account but not enough but the next bb fixing point will be more suitable making the pull force directly through the seat tube, the difference in angles will be taken up by the swivel near the handle. hope this make sense.

@@karavshin Hi, I see, Most road bike have there bottom bracket directly in line with the seat tube so no additional offsets would be required.

How do you remove a post that a customer has cut off and attempted to cut out with a hacksaw blade 🤦🏻
Hi, thanks for watching, we have a specially designed tube cutter the cuts sections out of the post from the top and down towards the bottom of the post, it’s not easy and time consuming.
