  • This video is a general overview of DUI. DUI defense is a very complicated area of law. It is important to hire an experienced dui attorney. Your Driving Under the Influence attorney must be well versed in the 4th, 5th and 14th amendments. They must know why NHTSA roadside sobriety exercises are used and what studies show regarding their reliability. They need to know the clues taught to officers. DUI attorneys need to have extensive knowledge of the intoxlizer 8000, the breath machine, used for breath testing. Your dui lawyer needs to know about urine and blood testing and the appropriate procedures so that a false positive can be challenged. They need to know about the blood kit and rules regarding chain of custody. There are many many defenses to dui cases, not everybody charged with a dui is guilty. Very serious question....how does someone in the state of Florida get a DUI manslaughter charge when in the report, the officer noted that he didn’t “suspect” alcohol or drug use in his report? Please answer.
