You have a beautiful collection Mr. Schneider. I have been learning a lot from your videos. I deeply appreciate your efforts. Please keep up the good work. Best regards.☺️
I didn't imagine you even had sneakers! I've always thought your definition of casual involves dressier stuff like dress shoes, dress shirts, knit ties... etc. If that's not the case, it would be great if you could do a video on your casual style and how you would dress in casual settings, like just taking a walk or something similar.
*+Gentleman's Gazette* Thanks a lot for showing me your pair of white shoes, Mr. Schneider! 'Cause at my first wedding I was wearing a whitely pinstriped, very light grey suit made out of wild silk (I do love silk, especially wild silk, and our marriage was in the middle of summer---btw., the gown of my spouse had also been custom-made of silk, embroidered with pearls, and diamanté with mother-of-pearls to enhance the pattern of its fabric) with a white belt, and a golden belt buckle corresponding to my aureate pre-war watch with a white watch strap. The shirt had a double.standing collar with special, translucent buttons (I really dislike ties---I was only wearing them for job interviews---confounded social conventions), this time made of "normal" silk. And last but not least my French styled shoes were just white with light grey spaghetti laces. But since my wedding in 1989 I've really been bothering, if perhaps these white shoes weren't too much for a special occasion like this, if they were a bit *too* extravagant? But when you do also wear white shoes, now it's okay for me, too... Thank you again, and kind regards, Steffen G.
I just got my first pair of real dress shoes. I opted for a boot since in the past (with cheap dress shoes anyway) I've had issues with my foot lifting out and hitting my ankle as well. Black cap toe with laces and zip. Johnson and Murphy so still in the range of affordable. Possibly the most comfortable shoe I've had.
Sven you have a collection of amazing shoes which I'm sure every gentleman watching this episode would be jealous of. Thank you so much for sharing you exquisite collection with us.
love this video! Though I don't think I can get away with monk straps, and I personally dislike capped toed shoes, these videos always give me good ideas of what to get next :D
Nunca iria imaginar que o senhor é brasileiro! Poderia fazer um vídeo em português com dicas para se vestir bem em um país tropical. Os seus vídeos são muito bons, parabens!
As well as shoes trees, invest in a shoe horn. A shoe horn help protect the leather at the back top upper heal from wear and tear when placing one's foot into the shoe.
As to the opera pumps, I've found that calfskin seems to work well enough with a dinner jacket, but that patent leather better suits the overall look set by a tailcoat.
Linda coleção! Gosto muito de assistir seus vídeos e sempre acompanho o canal! Fiquei surpreso ao saber que você é brasileiro! Obrigado por sempre compartilhar essas informações!
When I went to Italy, i discovered a local brand called “antics cuoiera napolitana”, I got a pair of kinda Italian-oxfords for 50 euros, with leather sole and wood heal with a rubber sole (the heal only), hand made stitched sole and a nice leather body. I know some high-end or “luxury” brands like Gucci may be superior, but for this price it just humiliates them. They were a bargain
That was my first pair of "more fancy" shoes I purchased around 2009. Lasted 8 year with no problems, couldn't be saved afterwards anymore though, cause too much glue used in the construction. The leather was good though
I wish when you were showing some of the darker colored Browns and black shoes if you could give a close up so it's easier for us to see some of the detail and broguing. Thank you
The modern polos you wear clash with your outfit. Try to find at least vintage polos because their cuts are different. I know you don't like short sleeve button downs, but those are more realistically fitting for the time periods your achieving, spefically bowling shirts or shirts with stripes.
I didn't grow up in Germany (but I've been there a few times), my dad is also Brazilian, I also live in the US, I also drive an Audi, and I also like nice shoes. Now I need 10 pairs of Ace Marks shoes to be 1/4 as cool as this guy!
that oxblood derby with the quilted heel cup is Cobbler Union (as opposed to Union Cobbler). As i started to watch this video i was wondering if you had ever reviewed their shoes. I am from the Atlanta area (local to Cobbler Union) and absolutely love this company. I currently own 4 of their dress shoes. Would love to hear more thoughts on them especially from their recent lines.
Oh man, i can't believe you are Brazilian!!!!
5:48 My favourite casual shoe of yours, hoping to see you in them more often. I think these will suit me so I'm after a pair of same design and colour myself! 6:45 I just love the Norwegian stitching on these making it a main reason for my comment on such a stylish and unique pair of open laced shoes.
I kind of like the Ludwig Reiters, they are a tat nonchalance. I am also looking into a pair of shoes from Meermin. The shoes on their site look gorgeous but (like you mentioned) apparently half of the work is done in China which is seen as a faux pas, however buyers are mostly pretty positive. Nice video, you're missing a desert boot in your collection.
Btw, I have the same problem with a pair of black full brogues as you. They're a bit useless, they're a staple for students though (under a 3 piece grey suit).
Hello Raphael, Recently, I have started watching your videos, and I must say I am very impressed. I still do a lot of over the top things, but i am working on that. I have, however one request. could you make a video on shoe polishing and the specifications of keeping your shoes functional and clean, with the different types of shoes? Keep up the good work! Thomas van der Jagt
Você é brasileiro!? Tenho visto seus vídeos recentemente e comecei a pesquisar recentemente sobre os sapatos... Você abriu meus olhos para sapatos! Sucesso sempre!
That's a must, put them in right after wear. A good brand will sell you one that matches the last of the shoe. I paid £60 for each one of my Crockett & Jones shoetrees. It's a purchase you only need to make once.
Made in Spain shoes are of very high quality and inexpensive, you cand find high end loafers with leather stitched sole for 50-60€ and a huge range of oxford, brogue, loafer etc for under 100eu Trick is there are little spanish designer shoes, Yanko, Castellanos, Pielsa, Carmina, Albadalejo, but hundreds of little to medium shoe makers with unknow brand name , that fom time to time, they made for other brands..... recently Ive seen a couple of models made in Spain
I recently bought a pair of derby shoes for around 100 bucks, they're not this quality but it's my first shoe i bought for more than like 40 bucks, 100 dollars seems so expensive for me! xd
Great vid Sven. Those derby brogues were they Royal Brogues? I used.to wear those at school in black. When are the burgundy to be worn with or without a suit?
So how many pairs are there in total? Early in the video I saw about 30, and started counting one-by-one, but I gave up before 20 (twenty). I guess it's about 40-50 overall.
The Ace Marks are coming out on top for me. Every time I think "I like that one", it's an Ace Marks. Very few others impress apart from the patent leather evening shoes, which probably wouldn't be very comfortable walking any distance in!
You are whatever the dress shoe equivilant of a sneakerhead is, amazing collection.
You can’t be a real “sneakerhead” if you dont have a couple nice pairs of dress shoes in your collection
@@bankrobba6731 Oh interesting. Didn't know that
An oxfordhead?
You have more italian shoes than me. And I'm italian

Yes please!! I need that

i like those washed look suedes, i think suede is so underrated, its elegant.
Suede is the devil to keep nice. Invest in a good shoe cleaner
That's one hell of a collection
totally agree
