Yes and I am so pissed that a fucking amazing singer and performer like our late Daniel Macmasters was muted into a reverb background singer so thay Jason could showcase himself. What a waste of perfect talent. In another band, with full voice and no reverb, he would have been on top. RIP Daniel❤
I miss the 80’s so badly, and I wish I could go back for a month. If I could, I would spend extra time with my loved ones who have passed away, and hang out with all of my friends again!! I would have my Camaro back and be cruising the streets with this kind of music cranked up loud ❤❤❤
Brendon Carmo I ask myself the same question every day. It's not just the guitars, it's the lyrics and the rest of the music. It had more class than most all new bands these days.
Every night ritual for me, I can't get enough of them. I watch ' Wait for you " " I'm guilty " and " Change of seasons " before I go to bed. Daniel MacMasters voice is amazing !!!!! And he is definitely not hard on the eyed.
It’s so weird reading “Danny”... not knowing him myself... I just think of him as Daniel.., I know it’s a nickname of Daniel, just feels odd reading it about him. He looked completely different... I’ve seen him with his hair up and pushed away from his face, it’s almost an odd picture the one with the short hair and hat. I heard he was happy to finally cut his hair off... Sadly... hair or not, he’s missed.
They were under-appreciated by the music press and the public...I loved this album but too many fans wanted to compare them to Zeppelin which is patently unfair. Their riffs and vocals were bad ass.
Great song, and yes a good band. But ya got to admit, they sure played out the Zep thing. Naming the band Bonham. Him wearing a Swan Song shirt. They should of tried it with out any ties to Zep and see how far would they have gotten...
I mean they got all sorts of attention when this band launched. There was literally a quasi documentary on MTV News that had every member of led Zeppelin playing with and praising Bonham. I think he got chances that almost no other drummer would ever get.
Best times --1980's. 47 years old & still rockin' out. Music best time in the decade was 1986 to 1986. Bonham was living proof of how the eighties were dynamic!
I was at the show, in November 1989 at the Omni in Oakland, California iand it was electric , amazing they were awesome. They sounded great! Are a RIP, Daniel Stewart McMaster 🙏🏽❤
The harmonica player on When The Levy Breaks was the best ever in the 55 years I have been here on this earth. What is his name? Jason, Bonham keep rocking as your on the right path and I must say your band is top notch. Great job stepping up to play with the Red Rocker Sammy Hagar and being part of the Circle. Awesome, Your dad is definitely smiling and is no doubt smiling from the other side.
If you were not there, you wouldn't understand the hair. The " Hair Bands " of the 80's kicked music on it's disco bloated butt and paved the way for everything new today, just as the Greats did before them. Beatles, Elvis,Sabbath,Zepplin, old blues, jazz and punk. It is music to some and just a money grab for others.
I still say there is a little known phenomenon of something between the more ridiculous hairspray "metal", and the much heavier metal of the 80's and early 90's, a sort of middle metal, and I think Bonham band falls dead center in the more acceptable hard rock, not quite glam, not quite heavy metal.
Wow........Drum patterns are very much like his fathers. Hitting exactly in time....pounding good and hard. Plus he is strong with timeing.....and that make a true Hard rock drummer. May hes on the way . Rockon
I have this on cassette and CD. Had forgotten all about them until I ran across the cassette while cleaning. Loved this album back in the day. The music still sounds great. Love this dated video: Steel? Check. Steam? Check. Floodlights? Check. Long hair? Check. High-waisted, tight jeans? Check. Random platforms to place the musicians at varying levels? Check. Sparks and flames? Check. You got yourself a late 80s/early 90s video.
Is anyone else still listening to this amazing song in 2024??? ❤
as a matter of fact, I am
You could say, I'm guilty
Yeah
absolutely

John Bonham would of been so proud of this band!
What a song, what a voice, what a drummer, what a production, everything is perfect. Back in the days when music was real and melodic.
@@metalneighbourslover4817 only if they were blind. The drummer is the son of a legend. 😉
Who
@@chancefullen2602 you are jk right? Led Zep? Drummer?
@@chancefullen2602 The Who ? Keith Moon 🤭
Lol there is still good music being made
I lived those years and 1989 was an incredibile year for rock music..so many excellent albums came out that year 💙
I remember I was 15 years old back in 1989 when this came out!
I miss the 80’s so badly, and I wish I could go back for a month. If I could, I would spend extra time with my loved ones who have passed away, and hang out with all of my friends again!! I would have my Camaro back and be cruising the streets with this kind of music cranked up loud ❤❤❤
I still drive with this music cranked! The body might age, but the brain still rocks!
AWESOME BAND...JOHN WOULD BE PROUD OF HIS SON. 🇺🇸💜

Yes, definitely. I am so glad I saw them early 90 in Ft. Lauderdale..
You ment John Bonham?
@@MetalMusicManiac It was JOHN Bonham that died in 1980. His son Jason Bonham, (the drummer in this video) is alive and kicking !
The guitars player of 80's was genious! Why music todays don't sound like it anymore?
80s music will live forever!! best bands ever!!
best ever for sure, lied it, loved it,,always will

Brendon Carmo yeah it's like music today they just want to dump you down or something it's no fun most of it

According to the camera time in this video, I think Jason Bonham definitely disagrees with you
I agree he was so sexy and talented i miss him he passed away too young

Me too. Daniel's voice was amazing 🤩
Never get tired of this song 🙌👌
boy Jason is playing the crap out of that drum kit I believe that his dad the late and great John Bonham taught him well.

I agree! This is a kickass album with the entire band killing it!

Great solid music. Anything Jason is a part of is BADASS. I believe the lead vocalist passed away. The violin lead is awesome as well
Best times --1980's. 47 years old & still rockin' out. Music best time in the decade was 1986 to 1986. Bonham was living proof of how the eighties were dynamic!
