Lol I missed my own live premier! Oops. Thanks everyone. Back to racin!!
Awesome seeing Liam out again 🤙🏼🤙🏼
What a beauty insidea and out
Looks good
👍👍from this guy
Good job on the 5.80. Getting faster and faster.
Im jealous, hoping my S10 will come somewhere close to that.
Keep up the hard work.
Well, did you win the $100? Glad you're back making passes!
Yep 🙂
Nice passes especially at the gut!
Nice no more wobble. Seems like it might be Murda's issue also.
I think his is different. He said he had shaking just revving it. That’s something in the trans or converter.
@@SlowerThanU Y'all defrosted there now?
Lol got GAPPED on your on premiere 🤣🤔
Damn day job taking all my time lol. Missed it completely
@@SlowerThanU been working in Chicago all week pretty cool driving into Chicago land speedway this week and seeing no track just 4 feet of snow damage amazon rented the infield for a drop yard pretty cool in the dark being only one there i was late to the premiere to
Are you going to the gut on Thursday nights? And damn that sucker hooks up! You have 4 link set up correct? And I don’t remember why you removed the intercooler, was it the methanol? Plans on putting it back on?
No I work fridays so I hate going on Thursday’s. I prefer Friday or Saturday but this was a Sunday because I was workin Saturday
@@SlowerThanU totally understand that, crazy how much different your burnouts sound now that you’ve gained a hole lol
Awesome to see Liam back!! Driveshaft swap seems to have fixed the problem. Those were some smooth ass passes. On the first pass you said it was slow, I wish I had that slow problem :-) I like the helmet cam by the way.
Well when I say slow i guess I just mean, nowhere near the threshold of the tire. Because I’d be happy as hell with a 6.50 on a hard tire or in a car with way less power or more weight. Dude I love the helmet cam. It’s so easy for me and gives a pretty cool shot.
@@SlowerThanU Just don't get caught slippin checkin murda out or the womens might question your relationship with him. hahaha
MurdaSquad always willing to help! Man those runs looked like buttah!
Have you ever thought about sprraying methanol since you’re not using a cooler. Makes a big difference. I run one in each turbo housing
Yep, I hate having a system to fail unless absolutely needed. Same goes with the water to air IC I had, I ended up with hundreds of degrees IAT if I forgot to turn it on or if the pump didn’t work. So I know it will be ok because it used to be lol. Made the same power with crazy high temps as it did with iced down cool temps so I see no significant need for it at my boost levels. If anything the combo seems to have gained some power per pound not having the IC there at all which feels great especially on the converter. I’d rather be on methanol but i just don’t have pumps that are ok with methanol yet. Eventually I will get a mew pump and go back to methanol as a primary fuel. For now this is fine. Even if I was leaving a little power on the table for safety it’s still enough for now.
@@SlowerThanU Gotcha. I get the same question all the time about what if it fails. I look at it like anything else. And injector can fail and nitrous Solenoid could fail. I’ve been running mine consistent for three years and never had an issue but I get where you’re coming from. My air temps on average are about 150° whether it’s 100° outside or not. Just a good insurance The way I look at it. Plus I’ve seen close to 100 hp gain with it. I’ve never ran inner cooler just for the simple fact of the hassle of the ice maintenance and the weight and the fact that we’re in Texas where it gets 110°.
@@SickSnails oh I never iced my intercooler down unless I was testing it specifically. I iced it down maybe three times ever lol. So my IATs have always been pretty warm I’m sure. I did not see a gain between ice and hot as shit so I just don’t feel it’s worth the weight. if I start needing to run high boost levels again then I will definitely make sure I go back to methanol or some means of cooling.
Liam looks to be all systems go! Very interested to see your data and tuning on E85 and no intercooler. So far it it seems to be working excellent for you.
Got about two weeks so far driving around my 5.3 turbo hardbody. Started doing some work on the suspension to help it hook up and was thinking of making a shock change. Have any suggestions for front shocks?
I use some rancho single adjustable. Bolt right in and some parts stores had them in stock. As long as you have the means to control the rate at which the front is able to rise it will help a lot. Can’t come up too quick and max out then unsettle everything on it’s way back down but it also can’t come up too slow because you need the weight to transfer to the rear to help. Obviously the rear needs to behave right also but I honestly change the behavior of my truck from surface to surface faaaar more with adjustments to the front than the rear.
@@SlowerThanU I am going to stick to the stock rear leaf springs for the rear suspension for a while at least. I might try to figure out some cal tracs. I will see about trying out the ranchos for the front.
@@AutoRepairTips a good shock and caltracs will be excellent
Good Job Liam (you was alright as well I suppose) lol
5.80 short shifting.......you crazy......go get em, big guy.
Does your helmet go pro have a mic? Or is it in a case?
It’s just the mediamod mic
6.0 @ 116 not trying?
Wow bro👍
What size turbo are you running?
It’s a VS Racing 88mm (the old 88/96)
Dammit man. We need to race already! 😂 You shoulda been out there the night before! You coulda made it if you left right after yall finished up at XRP!
They were supposed to start at 4 we didn’t finish till 6 so I assumed I would be late as hell even if I had the truck with me already.
@@SlowerThanU yea, i thought i was going to be too late too. But i drove the truck up there anyway for shits and giggles and still ended up making a test hit before first round. 😂
@@dimebag.s10 oh damn lol
