Marine Parade MRT Station (TE26) TEL4 | SingaporeIsland

Marine Parade MRT Station began operating on 23 June 2024. The station features six entrances and serves a diverse range of residential areas, both private and public. Notable landmarks surrounding the station include Parkway Parade, I12 Katong, Roxy Square, Hotel Indigo Katong, and the Marine Parade Community Building. Among the first three stations on the MRT network to offer underground bicycle parking facilities are Bayshore, Marine Terrace, and Marine Parade stations, with Marine Parade station alone accommodating 364 bike parking spaces.
An Art-in-Transit (AIT) installation titled WALK, created by Ang Sookoon, is located at Exit 3 of the station. This 2.2 metres (87 inches) bronze statue, designed in the form of a block of plasticine, draws inspiration from Ang's childhood memories in the Marine Parade neighborhood. It serves as a whimsical homage to the area's history and the lives intertwined with it over the years. This video was taken on 30 June 2024.
