@@conspiracisttu can use bands just not tight at all. just loop it once. it'll keep your hair in place and it's way better then having your hair flat every morning.
Since my hair is long i do the brush method but i just started a week ago and since its cold in new York I would usual rubber band them and put a bonnet on top of them the I put a beanie or my hood on every day before I go to school is that bad….?? just got starter locs not too long ago because freeforms was not really for me my hair needed to grow a bit more for it to look right but thanks on the sponge tips will use them when I restart@@Cellnation
@@shacorywilliams6879 bro all you need is regular hair grease like blue magic or sum any one works and dont wash it for like a good month and youll see growth after that month go ahead and wash like once or twice a week cuz u dont want the dreads to lose moisture and thin out dont have nobody tell u,u need locking gel dat sh is a mith as long as you have black nigga hair it will lock naturally 😂👌🏽💯

sponge morning evening and night thats it everyday till u feel you can just twist with your hands use oil to keep it healthy and u should be good
