Which is your favourite out of the Hakushus and Yamazakis?

I bought two bottles of Hakushu 12 six years ago or so, for $50 each before tax. I recently checked the price at a local store and it's $190. Finished one bottle a while ago, and I'm making my way through the 2nd one.... an oz at a time. Crazy world.

Never tried the hakushu 18 but the 25 was out of this world. Smooth… oh so smooth

I just bought the Yamazaki 12 at my local Total Wine for $199 after tax. They listed it as $179.99, but now it's price at $200. I have not opened it yet since I have a bottle of Hibiki Harmony open.

I was in Japan 3 months ago and all those are hard to find. If you do come across them, their prices are also ridiculous expensive. Some sell it the same as here or more. Went to the distillery and they don’t sell any onsite. Supply is low and demand is high from what I was told. Age Hibiki is also hard to find.

So i just bought the yamazaki 12 y old 100th anniversary around 299 euro-330 us dollar.
Pretty happy with the bottle because i got a discount of 79 euro so only 220 euro - 243 dollars.
The 18 year old price in my country is at least 2100 euro so 2320 dollars. Not willing to pay that, not all.
