Makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. So much emotion balanced with so much control... Bought this CD/DVD when it came out in 2007 and have never put it away.
With all he went through as regards his health, he has come back to continue his art as one of the best rock vocalists that has ever lived. A poet warrior and bard.
He was recognised in the 70's and ever since - I grew up listening to his amazing voice which seems to got even better with age. He has a quality of mellowness and yet has the growliness that I've always loved.
@@wendylewis4508 that's right! He's been recognized plenty! So many hits with all the album's with Bad Company! Rated as 1 of the top 10 rock voices of all time and known was "the voice!"
When I first heard this song at a early age I loved the music but didn't understand the lyrics as I became older and revisited the song. Wow I wish I had met a man who felt that way, great fantasy.....
He has taken some criticism from people who just don't get the fact that Paul Rodgers is Paul Rodgers and he's not Freddie Mercury. He wasn't trying to be, his voice was already perfect and still sounds great today!
I saw Queen and Paul Rodgers I Liverpool not so long ago. My friends all women and myself were privileged to see them. We like Queen but were there for Paul. Hes hot.
I’m still in a Deep love affair w Mr. Paul Rogers ( just cause he doesn’t know it does not matter) raspy sexy vocals ( pipes) just do it for me every time🎸❤❤❤❤❤💋💋💋
I think Roger forgets the song keeps going at 2:30. He's leaning forward ready to hit the cymbals and then has that look of "well alright then" as they start again.
Este señor es el mejor cantante de la historia del rock, Alfred Mercury aplaudía con sus soberanas orejas en la cuna, coño y por qué no decirlo, también con sus dascomunales piños...jeje...
You are absolutely right! BUT, Lambert kinda personifies Freddie and Rodgers does not. Paul Rodgers always has irons in the fire as well, so dedicating himself to Queen permanently was never in the cards. From what I know, Q and PR split up in a friendly manner after a few years. He has a number of projects since then including on and off and then on with Bad Company, and, unfortunately, had to deal with some serious health issues.
I got to see them in Miami in 2005 I think it was. It would have been 3rd row but there was a catwalk in the center of the stage that went into the audience. He absolutely crushed the Queen songs but as you said, when they did his material it was far superior to anything he ever had previously. When it kicked, it wasn't just a slow burn kick. It maintained feel and groove, but also was over the top ass kicking. I think he made a mistake by leaving. I know it wasn't bad terms or anything, but he will never play to the size of the audiences he did with Queen and of course that limits the exposure of his own hits. I don't know if you got the chance to see them, but it wasn't just a Queen show like Return Of Champions kind of portrayed it. They played a lot of his material. And they put every bit of heart into it that they did Queen material.
Why has this only got 132K views. one of the finest voices in rock music back by Brian May ?????

So cool❗️
I'm confused, just how many Paul Rodgers are in Queen?
What do you mean?
Four members of bad company backing up queen including Paul Rogers
I think Roger forgets the song keeps going at 2:30. He's leaning forward ready to hit the cymbals and then has that look of "well alright then" as they start again.
LOL I think so too
Like to hear paul try some Country
he would kick it.

Paul Rodgers is a MUCH better singer than Adam lambert. Period!
I don't know about all that ,but I love Paul , saw him with The Firm , never forget it ,
I think Paul is way better.
Absolutely
That's a fact, Jack!

Baby
Best backing band he's ever had - must have cost a fortune. Better harmonies, better guitar than Bad Company, better arrangement.

Dumb sound engineer used compression ... once the distortion kicks in, everything becomes quite
WTF
horrible version way too fast tempo
It's Queen and Paul Rodgers, they get to decide the tempo buddy 😂😂
