This. This is how incarnons are supposed to work. Both firing modes complementing each other, excelling in tasks the other cannot, and not just giving you a gun and a better/worse version of the same gun.
That's what alt fires are supposed to be. Incarnons require recharging from 0 every time the transformation ends/is cancelled, and then a whole reload animation to transform again after charging. That's too much hassle for something situational. Incarnon forms very much should be a straight upgrade over the base.
luckily those which their normal modes kinda suck (or are completely shadowed by their incarnon) can be charged really fast, like Furis, Torid, Lato, Burston & friends, etc.
While Soma Incarnon mode is just trash and is inferior to base mode. What a joke of a balance nobody is QA testing it or even caring about our feedback.
Atomos was my favorite weapon when clearing the star chart, I’m so happy to hear it’s finally viable on steel path

After a while testing in the Sim, I can confirm the Gundition Overload mods DO affect Beam status tick dmg. Using Voruna and Status Duration on Atomos, (generally status procs fall off at 6 sec, but Gas on Atomos lasts 12s with SD). After all other status procs fall off, Gas ticks are still hitting as hard as if target has 5-10 active statuses (+400-800% dmg).
Gas+Electric has entered the chat😂 Recently, I ran Murmur Assassination cuz I needed 1 more Pinion for that sweet 35K Kuva. During boss fight, if you Ensnare enemies on top the boss then hose em with Gas+Electric. The intense enemy density spawned so many Gas clouds it dropped Murmur Boss fastest I've ever seen.
i havnt played warframe in a hot minute, when i saw this video pop up in my recommended i did a legit double take and had to read the title out loud, atomos WHAT

Please do torid as well, i think both incarnon mode and non incarnon mode offers similar degree of flexibility with atomos if not better

if u gonna use 2ndry for damage you could make a glaive melee up with combo fury to get 100% reload and mag capacity (normal mode)

@@noahedenborg4221 i guess it would be up to user preference but you gotta think about this, you are already sacrificing 1 slot on ur melee for a little bit of useful utility.
combo fury would free up an arcane slot/mod slot and it lasts 12 seconds and is useful for getting incarnon mode activated the increased mag and reload speed is just to get to that point.
I dunno if mark of the beast would benefit much since u would be stopping every 6 seconds to kill 6 with your melee

this might be kinda fun Arcane pistoleer with the kunai incarnon (autohits heads) to give 102% ammo economy to primary weapons for 12seconds with a vigswap/holster amp/elemental ward toxin gauss (260% extra damage on swapping) redline build

@Aznvasions you're sure? I tested a lot in Sim this afternoon and Gun CO consistently increases status tick dmg per active status when the damage instance causing that proc was hit with active statuses on target. For instance: target has 5 statuses active, I proc Gas on additonal hit, the new Gas proc gains 400% dmg per tick (compared to no additional status active) and keeps the dmg% even when other status fall off ie: expire/ target dies but cloud remains. I'm thinking now Heat Inherit might be getting in the way of CO for working if the first Heat tick take place before additional statuses can ramp gun CO. Even still, it's a Heat issue and not that Gun CO doesn't work for other other Status **Ehem Gas+Electric EHHHERRGM** excuse me. The Galv buff needs to be active to get +dmg% per active status.
kuva zarr barrage mode is probably better for disruption
