Hello Mike it's great to see the main motorway to the south west of england delay free. The m5 took 15 years to build between the m6 junction and it's terminus near exeter. My father drove from glasgow to swanage Dorset england in the 1970s. He stopped at michael wood service area heading to our family holiday home near swanage. It's a lovely little town near Bournemouth. We enjoyed our visit to swanage very much.
A g fascinating video. the M5; large sections built as 2 lane,. later widened to 3 lane at huge expense... then partly widened to 4 lanes at further huge costs. the DfT has a lot to answer for.

I remember when the M5 only had two lanes in Worcester & the huge traffic jams that it caused. Thankfully they widened it in the 80's ☺
