We did a pilgrimage to Pathibhara Devi's Temple, located on the hills of Taplejung, Nepal. Also called MUKUMLUNG by the Limbus. We started our journey from Kathmandu which took us 4 days to get to the temple located at the elevation of almost 4000m.
Pathibhara is one of the most significant Animist Limbu shrine in Nepal, but now also revered by all believers to be a place of power and purity. The temple's name is so called because the mountain is shaped like a Pathi (a grain container).
