I just bartered for one, it had a blown engine, I knew I could fix it. Got new engine from ebay. It was about two grand. Had to convert it from non-turbo to turbo. That took a bit to do properly. Non-turbo had remote water pump and holes didn't match up in the block. Got nervous drilling into block. Plugging the old holes no problem, loctite and a grinder. It now runs great. All the machines controls and joints are tight. There's a leveling feature ( difficult at times to shut off ). There are issues with the wires and gauges behind the overhead panels. This thing has some snort, impressed with the new engine, the oil is still clean. So clean you can't see it on dipstick. I'll be honest this is the first new engine I've ever owned, and to have it fire up so quickly after resetting the shims on the injector pump, I felt dubious as to it ever running, then purring. I now have a grapple bucket, forks, rolling 72" vibratory compactor, and a bobcat model backhoe that I need to modify the hydraulics to get to flow properly. Makes a wonderful forklift, excavator, compactor, grapple mover (rocks, logs). I will move the auxiliary hydraulics to where the new ones are located... on top the left arm. Very awkward where it is. Machine has just over 2K hours. I'm sure the engiine blew because of the wiring mess up top (the gauges don't work, no temp or oil pressure. I guess mice make a disaster in there. I'm getting ready to rebuild it. It came with tracks and the factory manuals. Handy when I removed and reinstalled engine. I can lift what an 80hp bobcat lifts.
srt hellcat that’s not a bad price for those hours. My machine has 1600 hours. Just check to make sure the pins on the loader aren’t worn out and that it drives smooth.

Im having problems getting it to start i have the same model as you i have to put starting fluid to start
jesus mario herrera might be a weak injection pump or injectors. How many hours are in it? Could just need an overhaul
Is there an oil pan cover plate on the bottom of your lx665? Or is the oil pan always exposed through the cavity under the machine

Is this a pretty reliable machine other then these small issues?
srt hellcat overall yes this has been a reliable machine. No major break downs. Just minor wear and tear issues
