Change of maiden name to spouse name does it requires a new passport?
Or just the affidavit and newspaper publication?
It does not require a new passport, the affidavit and newspaper publication is sufficient but make sure the visa application form is filled with the name on the passport.

@Five & Six Duo I did a new passport with my husband's name, but I booked an appointment with the old passport that bears my father's name because the new passport is not yet ready, I only change the surname, please is there any implication?
.....and abeg remember that all the answers you give to them is and will be stored at the Auslanderamt in the city you are travelling to in Germany.

Should we have done it before getting marrried or he can do it now, stating that she was never married prior to her marriage to me. Thank you.

(Geneva convention) and I have my Niederlassungsaufenthalt ( unbefristet) , my national passport and German Refugee passport. Must my spouse get the health insurance in Africa before coming to Germany? . I have AOK insurance.
Hello, yes she need the travel health insurance because she will be requested to submit it along with her international passport at the embassy

Nice video 👍 sist please what happened when someone doesn’t have any school qualifications? Will that be an issue when filling the questionnaire? And is the traditional wedding pictures a must to submit too ?
That should not be an issues if you don’t have any school qualifications. For the traditional wedding, if you indicate that you did it then pics is needed and the interviewer will also ask if you did traditional marriage too

@@fiveandsixduo it was because of no school certificates they rejected my wife application twice...they insisted on old primary school certificate for identification reason. we told them we do not have and they rejected the application again after we have spent over N5m for Lawyers and everything.
Those people are just too Wicked and Heartless. Gosh!

Thanks for the video. I want to ask your husband. what information did his Germany Employer send to the German Embassy about him, I believe that information also needs to match with what you present at the Embassy in Nigeria?
Your company does not need to send anything to the embassy but they can apply for ZAV approval in Germany to fast-track the visa process. Go to the embassy with your original offer letter sent to you by your employer plus the ZAV approval if you have one.

Do i need to go with my two kids for the interview.And also the written consent from my spouse should it be written with pen or typed
I went with my son during my time and mothers also came with their children so I suggest you go with them. For the consent since my husband was already in Germany so he typed and signed and sent to my email to print out. But if his around then he can also write. I think anyone will be acceptable

@@ekpesandra2525 when hubby got to Germany he sent a mail to the embassy and the next day I got appointment date, but this days I hear even if you send mail they will tell you to wait till one year but you can try tho.

Hello, yes verification is done for family reunion except for those whose spouse has the blue card. If it’s blue card no verification will be done which was also our case.

Hello, it will not be acceptable because it is declaration of age. Kindly use your parents name for that document. Make sure the affidavit is also sworn by one of your parents.

The appointment for your wife covers for your baby but you must fill an application form for your baby too and get all the required documents for minor applicant

It’s travel insurance and yes embassy will specify how many months. It usually 3 month from your travel date tho

Good morning ma, I'm planning to apply for German's Ausbildung Visa, I have a problem that's a wrong date of birth in my WAEC certificate,I got an affidavit but do you think the wrong date of birth on my WAEC certificate would be a big problem for me?
Hello good morning, since you have sworn affidavit that there was an error it is ok. They might just need you to submit older documents so it’s fine.

No just one envelope because the documents will be sent together and for marriage certificate. The court certificate is what you will take along

The travel plan( date). You just wrote it? Like typed it on a paper addressing the Embassy or how??
You can type or write in paper it’s not a big deal at all. Eg Dear consulate my travel date is 21/6/2023 that’s all very simple

One question please?
1. During my appointment interview process, would they collect my passport?
3. If they dont collect the passport on the appointment day, would i receive an email to submit my passport for stamping of visa? Is it at this point they they ask for travel insurance also to sent it together with passport via DHL or in person at the gate?
2) At what point would they ask for travel insurance?
3. How do i know when the visa will be issued to guide me into knowing the travel date? Does the travel date that i give them depend on when the visa will be issued? Does the travel date also determine when the travel insurance will start?
4. Does it mean that once they ask for my passort and travel date, they are ready to give me a visa?
5. Will they ask for german health insurance? Or i am supposed to get the german health insurance after i arrive germany. All i need now is travel insurance?
In general, i just need for clarification on what happenns after the interview date to the visa issue. I am clarified on the travel insurance, travel date, 2nd envelope, passport sending via envelope. Etc

One question 😂😂😂. This is like 5 na 😂😂. 1- it depends on your interviewer, some will collect and some will not collect the passport.
2- Yes they will send a mail for you to submit your passport and your travel insurance. They will also ask you to write your travel date on a paper. You will be told to calculate 14 days, some 7 days depends on what is written for you .
3 - already answered in number two. They will be the one to tell you to count from when the passport will get to embassy. 14 days or what ever days they put. So for instance if you know that you stay in Lagos and by next day your passport will get to embassy. Then count from that next day till the number of days they tell you and write your travel date
4- yes once they ask, they are ready to give Visa.
5- Just the travel insurance from Nigeria. It’s usually for 3 months and most people use AXA Mansard. I have someone that works there when you are ready let me know. All the best🙏

@@edegbejennifer1147 Hello, you do not need any affidavit. Not everyone changes their name . Your marriage certificate signifies you are married so no need to change if you don’t want to .

Yes you need affidavit of spinsterhood. It must be sworn by one of your parents saying you were never married before until you met your husband on so so so putting your wedding date.

Hello, for my interview it was English but the interviewer ask if I could speak and I said No. but with people that need the A1 I don’t have an idea if they were asked to speak but for me I was not asked.
