This isn't the only way to do it.
It's probably not the best way to do it.
But it's how I did it. - Věda a technologie
Put the washer then the spring on the screw before screwing into the clamp, it will stop the screw from loosening under vibration.
Hi,
Merry Christmas 👍👋⛄️🌲❄️🎁🇫🇷
Thank you. 🎄🎄
Dear Kaiweets, I've been a very good boy this year and I also deserve a Christmas present... Waiting patiently, Kirk 🙂
You get more bits and bobs than anyone else I've ever encountered. I'd love to see how you store and retrieve all these items. I figure you either have one of the greatest organizational systems ever or you're more akin to the Collyer brothers and just have narrow paths throughout the house. 😁
😬.
You asked it, and we're all wondering what the answer is.
You forced me to look up who the Collyer brothers are.
Hopefully, everything is neatly labeled.
@@GnuReligion Well we know some if it is labeled as a few mailbag mondays ago a label printer arrived ;) The same one featured in this video again.
It's a delicate balance between those 2 systems.
Hi Kent, so I’ve sat and watched your very first video you made till this mailbag one, and I’m quiet impressed with your model railroading videos, so much I’m now looking into starting my own hobby railroading, looking forward to it.. I might be asking you for some advice in the near future, so be forewarned lol , keep up the great work mate.. 🤙🏼🇦🇺
The springs will reduce the clamping force on the glass. The clamping force would be the spring tension holding the glass down.
Merry Christmas to you and yours. A great channel, keep up the fantastic work you do
Nice price reduction on that meter. Well ... . Looks pretty fast when measuring those leds. Happy holidays!
The SMD tweezers probe looks very nice. Nice Christmas haul, stay warm, Manitoba looks a little bit cool right now.
Yea it's Monday again last one before Christmas, happy Christmas too you all 🙂
Screw spring washer then screw into clamp. In that order Washer to protect clamp. Spring to stop screw falling out
Hope that helps
I just bought some Kaiweets test leads. Wish they’d given me some for Christmas!
Damn, that's a nice meter!
it probably is screw > spring > washer > bracket.. so the steel spring doesn't mess with the alu bracket..
Love the poe injectors, didn't know they were so cheap..
For the USB A plugs.. they can be bought 10 pcs for 2 bucks free shipping on ali.. okay, you have to solder cables on to them yourself, but .. ! ^^
..and kaiweed "should" pay you something for the kind product review, so you can buy more stuff :D
and uh do I like to watch your pile of stuff , so thanks for recording ! All good things to you ! :)
I will be doing a review on the multimeter at some point, I will be putting it on my calibrator and references as usual.
I figured that would be the case!
You are better equipped to do that level of accuracy testing than I am.
Love that your video starts with open grandpas sweater. lol
Yes, I know it is a good stout, but I couldn''t resist but have a bit of a childish giggle :).
Look forward to many more mailbags next year. It just goes by so fast. Thank you for all the fun.
our local dollar store equivalents in Belgium (as well as a lot of other EU countries) are stores along the likes of Action. I find their USB cables nearly flawless! When I buy one, the only mod I do is squirt some small drips of superglue into the ends of the plug (especially the small ends) and that keeps the strain relief firmly on the connector. It makes them much more effective.
I guess the springs are so the screws don't rattle out, like the bed adjust.
Yup! They go over the screw, between the screw's head and the item. :) Then the washer sits between the spring and the item to protect it from spring scratches
That multimeter is great once you change out the probes. It’s pretty accurate and the continuity mode for short testing is super fast. That delay you experienced is from the probes. Once you get a good pair of gold plated probes that delay is gone. Thanks for the video !!! Have a Merry Christmas!!
Ooh, mystery washers and springs. :)
There are 4 types of label tape I use, White on Black, Black on White, Black on Clear and White on Clear. I find they cover all my labeling needs.
Hell of a box from Kaiweets. Nice.
Maybe you could use those cutters as track cutters on your railroad?
Merry Xmas. Thanks for all the hard work
I enjoy watching your videos Man! I got a few of them Kaiweets brand multimeters. Not that particular model but other models and I really like them! I don't particularly like the color ones as much as I like the monochrome ones like you were saying. I find the color ones are bit more distracting. But there's still good don't get me wrong! And also the manual setting ones as you were saying I agree with you as well.
Kaiweets sent me that same gift as well, the cutters are pretty nice.
They're not bad. There is a bit of a burr on one side of the stripper section, but noting that impacts the function.
have you ever spilt your beer on the bench, usually happens to me!
never on camera...
yeah just be careful of the poe leads as the internal wires can be a bit dodgy over time
Yeah, it's definitely not a high current solution.
@@pileofstuff no they will loose connection
That's not Co-Ax plug, that's a Barrel Jack.
