I used to love this flight. Did it on A330 and A350 with Qatar Airways. ETOPS most of the way so use of the terrific CPDLC was used. A bit surprised the new runway not opened yet. Shout out to the air traffic controllers for handling all the backtracking with arriving/departing traffic and also for Hulhule Hotel, the layover hotel. Good memories!!

Pretty interesting video I was the quality development engineer for the Boeing 777 ultrasonic fuel gauging system used in Boeing 777 Made by smiths aerospace uk. Once in production, I became the quality release engineer. I have released, a large number of systems to Boeing in Seattle.. Now I am retired.
I admit I enjoyed every minute of this flight along with Cap Khaled and the Senior First officer on board Carolina (beautiful BTW. Where is she from?), smooth flight with the best explanations. Nothing to complain, wonderful. Ignacio from Caracas, Venezuela, thanks.

I am also not a Muslim to follow Hussein and ask for help from a person who died 1400 years ago. I wish people would respect each other more, then the world would be a better place. I'm sorry for you who don't read history to understand that the name of the Persian Gulf has always been the Persian Gulf when there were no Arabs, sir.

It also matters on the skill of the pilot because some airport have requirements of the captain or fo to land so maybe it could also be that :)
