I wear black or nude cotton briefs and a nude bra almost every day. Comfortable and keeps things simple. I have lacy pieces with some color for special occasions. Recently I had a bra fitting at a lingerie store and it was so helpful for getting the right fit. When I'm feeling really feminine or at certain days in my cycle I like to bring out some special pieces. I find it increases my confidence to wear really beautiful underwear even if no one knows but me!

In case anyone else struggles to find small band sizes, Natori has fantastic bras (specifically their Feathers collection). I'm a 30DDD and most shops here stop at 32 bands so I was so happy when I found them!

As someone who works in the lingerie world I can tell you: definitely ask for advice to find the right fit and definitely don't be afraid to try it on with your clothes. If you are in a good store they really don't mind. I love Hanky Panky and Mey for my panties and Aubade for my bra's 😊 And this is a great video!
Nice video Jess however I like a cotton, lace high waisted, full coverage shorts in black as they don’t give VPL, ride up, roll down or give muffin top and are so comfortable! ❤
I’ve been a Uniqlo girl for my knickers for many years now; they have a great selection of laser cut undergarments in a few neutral colours. They’re also very good for longevity! Thanks for this video Jessica, I’ve been maintaining a minimal underwear drawer for a few years but it’s starting to get away from me. Maybe this is the push I need to have a sort!
Such a good straightforward and helpful video. As someone who was much bigger chest wise post babies, a good bra makes all the difference. And although I wish I had more money to spend in this area, I've found that choosing better is possible even on a budget. ♥️
Loved this video! I like most women probably tend to neglect knickers, however I always buy a good bra. I have found Bravissimo are really good, especially if like myself you are naturally larger in the bust. The whole sizing experience in the shops is excellent.
Just to let you know that watching this video has made me go on an underwear shopping spree! Thank you so so much for sharing your thoughts! You have helped me think more deeply about what I need. It turns out that flesh coloured underwear has a much bigger importance to me than I assumed. I was a coloured underwear type of girl with lots of black as well. I am so looking forward to my new items arriving!! I can’t help but notice the timing with this little transformation as well. I am very keen to have my insides match my outsides, as in live with more integrity to my heart. I know it probably seems like I’m overthinking this but this seems like a wonderful step forward in multiple ways! Thank you again lovely. I love watching your videos. Fantastic video Jess, I have never seen this topic covered so well and thoughtfully. I keep a simple and small underwear collection as I would rather have good quality pieces in good condition. Last year I got rid of anything that was uncomfortable that I was holding onto. The only thing I struggle with are cami tops and racer tank tops - I never know what to pair under these well and I haven’t found a comfortable strapless bra yet.
Glad it was helpful! Yes to letting go of the uncomfortable 🙌 I would say a strapless bra is ideal for those tops but take them with you when you go to try and consider all options. I’m sure you’ll find the one. Patience is unfortunate but essential
Do you machine wash everything? A lot of the websites you recommended and others are hand wash only which I can’t do due to disability. Do you have any more tips about the fancier pieces?
My struggle is that in most of the stores in my town (like oysho) I cant try it on. So I have a good collection of underware that doesnt fit 😢 The other problem is that every bottom that I own ends up inside my b*t 😫 Its horrible! Thank you for the video, I will look for some of these stores in places near by to go try.
