"Scariest fucking thing I've seen in a while. Like, watching his other videos. Imagine someone films themselves murdering someone, stealing, commiting a crime in general. Then just pasting your face over theirs, and when the police see the footage, you're fucked. Imagine the implications this software could put someone through. It's done so seamlessly it's fucking fascinatingly terrifying. Imagine this software next year, maybe 5, how about 20."

That’s what living with a shapeshifter would feel like: you’d get kicked out the moment you call them out on it (since you have no idea how to do it at will). Seriously. I was talking to him about things that are valid (I even spoke to him about shape-shifting the day before and he told me that it all isn’t real - and I asked him about chameleons and he said that that isn’t shape-shifting).*

It's annoying when a comedian keeps laughing at their own jokes. When the joke isn't actually funny, they laugh to convince us this needs laughter. Sub concsious cues. Many bad comedians do this, e.g. Trevor Noah, Dane cook etc are great examples.

I always thought a good comedian has the control to not laugh at his own joke. Laughing sometimes because you can't hold it on is good but constantly is bad. I think it adds to a joke to say something hilarious with a straight face.

Justin: "This is the best deepfake I’ve ever seen."
It's essentially perfect. If Bill Hader were a sorcerer who could make his face change to look like other people, in what way would it look different from these deep fake videos?
When it comes to deep fakes, we are now officially in the danger zone. We are bound to have a couple of serious "deep fake" incidents in the next few years, involving a celebrity or politician.
A side effect of deep fakes: celebrities and politicians (and ordinary citizens as well) will now have the option of the "deep fake defense". People like Donald Trump will simply claim that it's a deep fake if damaging film footage of them surfaces.
      Yikes.
