    I have had the Fabricator for less than a month, and they release a new model, hahaha, oh well it looks mostly cosmetic. I love the beast. It is everything I hoped it would be. The walking foot will pull anything through the needle. If the material will, fit under the foot, the Fabricator will punch through it.

      Comparing the two
      The difference is the deluxe has a butcher block table. A different light and the leg frame is now the same colour as the machine. The table is smaller. A price increase of $300.
      For me........I would get the other one and save the $300.

      @SailriteDIY  Před rokem

      Hi Terry,
      We do not currently offer a needle positioner option, but the workhorse does have a port for a sensor. We feel the control is so good that it is not required.

    • @TerrydeAlaska
      @TerrydeAlaska Před rokem

      @@SailriteDIY I think having the needle stop in the down position, allows you to make turns when you put the pressor foot up. Does the port in the workhorse allow for a positioning sensor that will do this? Not sure how it works.

    What would be the feasibility of getting running gear as an add on to this one day, or the standard?
    I have the standard package and absolutely love it, however, it probably doesn't get as much use as it would have if it were on wheels. I did a pontoon boat cover and was using my 20x40 foot driveway to keep it straight because I don't have that kind of room in my home or my workshop (a 20x20 garage where it shares with my woodworking and other tools). The whole project being over multiple days, I kept wishing it were a little more mobile. The leveling feet are a nice option but not the most incredibly useful thing for DIY'ers who do large scale work in not so large scale locations.

    Serious question: Is this just an industrial sewing machine already on the market only relabeled for Sailrite or is this model unique to your company?

    • @SailriteDIY
      @SailriteDIY  Před 2 lety +3

      The Fabricator is the best sewing machine package in its class, nothing compares (even the Consew 206rb-5) to it in both performance and power. I know that is a very bold statement, but it is true, you will love the machine! Sailrite is the exclusive source for this fine sewing machine and Sailrite’s famous service comes with the deal. The Sailrite Workhorse Servo motor and the Stitch Pro Balance wheel (which are all cogged) are miles ahead of any other servo and balance wheel. You simply can’t get the power and slow speed control that we have on our Fabricator.
      We want you to be able to maintain the machine yourself. If it comes down to a mechanical or timing issue (which is very rare), we provide excellent instructions guiding you on what to do to fix most issues yourself (take a look at the PDF guidebook here: www.sailrite.com/PDF/2016_Fabricator_Guidebook.pdf ). Since you are trying to compare the Consew to the Sailrite Fabricator take a look at the guidebook you will get from them: www.consew.com/Files/112347/InstructionManuals/206RB-5.pdf Need I say more???
      If you need phone support we stand ready to happily assist. Not to mention the many “Unlisted” videos on CZcams (available to Sailrite Fabricator Sewing Machine owners only) showing you in detail how to fix it yourself. So, not only do we stand ready to help you with questions on sewing projects, fabrics, notions and tools, but we also provide the best technical help for your Sailrite sewing machine from our own sewing machine techs in-house.
      I hope this has helped put your doubts aside! Let me know if you have any more questions. Looking forward to doing business with you soon!

      @SailriteDIY  Před rokem

      I am not sure I understand layaway policies, but is it not a payment plan that requires a customer to make payments and they don't get the product until it is all paid off? If that is the case, which it may or may not be, why not just save the money yourself and pay for the product when you have it all saved up. Then you get the product right away and you learn how to budget. I do not mean to be disrespectful, so please let me know if I am wrong.
