  • To replace the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in 1972, the new track of Nivelles-Baulers was chosen. Alternating with the Circuit of Zolder-Terlaemen it would host the Belgian Grand Prix every even year. The adventure was shortlived though. Backruptcy and problems with the tarmac led to the closure of the circuit. Today the area is converted into an anonymous industrial estate after laying neglected for years.

Forgotten but not regretted. I remember the comments of the drivers at the time, explaining how uninteresting the circuit was.

Very nice! Circuits of the Past interested me in this (almost) forgotten track.

Absolutely same situation here! I always thought this was the most random and forgotten F1 circuit ever, even I kept forgetting it!
