Right?? But it's also understandable as they are academics and writers... but it is still a lot of books ha... I never asked them if they had actually read them all... In any case the place has been sold last winter/spring to a lovely gay couple. I'm sure that the people that saw the place and didn't make an offer will be regretting it in years to come. I wish I could have bought it. :-)
Ha thanks he is my real estate sidekick!! ... The house is really unique and beautiful, like being in the countryside in Paris... We just sold it a month ago!! Stay tuned for more content. I have been a bit behind unfortunately. Thank you for your comments!!
California real estate agent here. American listings are so polished and anonymous. This is exquisite, as is your presentation. A real house. Best real estate video I've ever seen. Masterful. Goals.
the house is giving university professor with intelligent 2 kids plus 1 radical kid who's long been wanting to move out from parents house kind of vibe
That's practically it!! 2 smart kids but one that might grow up as you describe ha. The family moved to Florence, Italy afterward, the husband being Italian. The whole family spoke English, French and Italian fluently. Listening to the kids speak Italian was cute.
All I can say is wow! This house even blew away my expectations of what my dream house in Paris should be like. It's simply stunning. As a book lover, this place is Valhalla. I just hope those new owner's renovations don't take away it's magical characteristics. Thank you for showing this. I just have a question for you. Which arrondissement is this house in?
Hello Hello. Thank you for the comment and sorry to get back to you so late. It really is a lovely place.. and I agree the books add warmth in addition to knowledge, ha, to the home. The house is in the 10th. 🙂
Wonderful video but it’s so tiny. For CZcams shoot it horizontally at full resolution so people can see it. Wonderful property and a wonderful description.
Bonjour Jasmine! Thank you for the message. I will keep that in mind and thank you kindly. It was the first video I shot and am always learning. (I suppose that's life??!! ha) Anyway glad you liked the property. I just shot a video for a couple of courtyards in Paris in my area, the 12th. I'll post it this week. Kind Regards and bonne journée. :-)
Robert Tycen Paris Properties Yes the image is small and you can’t make it bigger. I just watched your Gervais 1930s townhouse video and it’s the same problem. The intro when you’re outside looks great but then when you go inside the camera or the phone is made vertical and it’s a very small image that won’t enlarge on my tablet. But again the intro to that video was perfect.
Amazing place for Paris. It almost seems like it’s in the country. One question though, how do you get your car into that garage? I assume the big metal gate opens right the way up but the driveway seems so narrow.
Hello! Thank you for your comment and question. The garage is much larger than it seems and houses several cars for the buildings around it, and therefore there is plenty of room to move around once inside. :-) The house in question (which has been sold now) has 2 designated places within that larger garage with the possibility to close it off as well. But again, plenty of room inside to pull the car out and drive in.
Hello!! Well it looks more narrow than it really is, but it is narrow ha. The door opens all the way up and there is room to get around once inside. Great question thanks. It is like being in the country!
I'll check it out thanks, ha.... It sold a couple months ago!! But not right away... I had to show it about 15 times or more... those that didn't make an offer will regret it in 5 years... the whole area is gentrifying.
How do academics afford a €2.2M home? Lol. And all those books!!! Awesome home! So big! Didn’t know Paris had such things. Assumed everyone lived in 10 sqm closets with kitchen washing machines. 😂. I should visit someday.
Same thing in the US coasts more than 2.2M euros. Paris is full with surprises, in the area where I live 16th arr you can find bigger but guess more expensive.
OH TONY, when WILL you come?? Please accept my apologies for answering so late!! It's been kinda busy around here... I'll add more content soon, stay tuned, I got behind... and yes it's a beautiful place for sure, just sold it last month.
Personally, I would reconfigure the house. Make the huge kids room on the first floor into the master bedroom and turn the guest room next door into closets and master bath.
Hello, so sorry to respond so late, but yes, I am a big fan of reconfiguring and updating... That's actually an excellent idea, create a master "wing"... I've been behind but will be adding more content soon.
Hello! Thank you for your comment, but It’s not that bad at all and you also have an entrance on rue de l’aqueduc…. and… AND…it’s an excellent investment. The sellers made Capitol gains of 700.000€ in 7 years. That’s not negligible.
@@jimharvey4941 I'm not sure I understand your reference, or if you are being sarcastic? Anyway veiled comments be gone! ha they made 700.000 in capitol gains on the property, and I'm not sure you know the market here that well actually, or the city?
Wow! They had a lot of books to pack! Reminds me of me and my tons of books. It’s a beautiful place!

@@roberttycenparisproperties4668 ,and you did a very good job of showing it! Reminded me of our HGTV channel in the US.
Au revoir!
Thank you! The owners were academics and writers so par for the course! You must be a reader.
Love it! It's a library!! My kind of people. Love the dog.

Thank you, Pookie is a good sidekick, and yes the books were amazing, makes for a cosy atmosphere.

Thank you so much Elizabeth Ann. :-) I really appreciate the positive feedback (of course !)
I really appreciate the compliment!! I love my job, but haven't had a lot of time to do videos lately, more to come!
We need more tours from you, sir Robert
Hello!! Thank you so much for the encouragement! I have been meaning to do some video so stay tuned. Kind Regards Mike. :-)
I really appreciate that Mike!! I've been a bit busy but plan on doing more content soon!!
A hidden gem in the 10eme. I love it! Congrats on the new listing Tycen!
It just got sold last month!! I hear you are doing real estate in Chicago? Good for you.
Sorry it took me a while to write back... I will be adding more content soon have been a bit behind.
Beautiful Home. The terraces are sanctuaries.
Those Terraces and the intimacy with the greenery really do make the place special!!
The area is good for ethnic cuisine. I think it was some sort of a warehouse.
It was actually the old washing house for all of the linens from the trains at the Gare du Nord just nearby. Yes, excellent ethnic food in the area!!

Yes it’s gorgeous. I sold it!

Lovely! The Terrace is my favorite

AIN'T she sweet? Sorry for the late reply... been pretty busy... Just sold the place a month ago. whew!! I'll add more content soon I've been behind.
@@g23reece82 Merci!!
My library doesn’t have that many books! LOL
All the more reason to fill it! ha Motivation for reading I guess...
I don’t have enough books to buy this house. ☺️
But think of all the wall space you will have once they are taken down! ;-)
Wow has it sold? That is the stuff of dreams. Check out the SNL Zillow spoof.

It's absolutely stunning! I love the terrace! What camera did you use to film this?
Casa magica ....atmosfera irreale...
Giardino splendido....
Thank you ! It is beautiful. I filmed it all with the new iPhone pro. :-)
@Michael Frilund thank you for the suggestion :-)
It's a library
the townhouse it s localized at rue Faubourg Saint Denis?
Oui... haut, vers gare du Nord... super investissement... ceux qui n'ont pas fait d'offre vont regretter dans 5 ans!
How will they move those books?!
Lots of boxes and manpower! ha... They are set to move in April.
😲
Glad you like it!!

wow good. what about location & $??
Ahh it's near the Gare du Nord, a somewhat up and coming neighbourhood, and it actually sold for 2.1 million Euros...
Le chien est-il à vendre ?
mais non mais non! ha He's my buddy... I'm actually surprised at how attached I am to that cute little guy. He's 12 now.
Gare du Nord?, I don't care how hidden it is. When you step outside of that gate, it is one of the worst places to walk at night or daytime.
