Yep the movie definetely is originally Rated R, the clip from 2:08 proves it, that was not in the final movie. Although I kinda prefer the one we have now, I dont think think making it intense Rated R would make sense
I do like how Megan while being a person in a suit, yall did make her feel very artificial and that's really adds to the uncannyness of her movements and feeling like what a robot could be in a few years if we keep jumping more with modern tech. Almost like and Alexa from hell
I think we'd be lucky if Megan was as bad as it got. My biggest fear is still i-robot. Megan is nothing the 2nd amendment can't fix. But i-robot robots are hive minded, Ai controlled, lethal and durable androids. that tunnel scene gives me the heebie-jeebies. such a well coordinated attak by the ai thing.

Keeping that method to a minimum really made this movie! That fact that you could reach out and touch her makes it all the more creepier!!! Excellent movie!
We get one killer robot and everyone lose their mind! But having multiple human serial killer in our society and everything is ok This is strange how humans are afraid of something new

Even though you can compare it to Chucky or Orphan, this is original! We need more movies like this with original ideas! Classics like Halloween (just my fav movie, not like m3gan at all) were influenced by other movies like When a Stranger Calls and Nosferatu.. but they were original enough to become classics.
To avoid spoilers I’ll be vague but I love how the trailers may show surface level stuff but the film does have some serious commentary on certain topics.
It's a decent movie based on what reviewers are saying. It's one of those connection movies where you may or not relate to it but you get at what they're trying to portray.
