- Bill and I turn on the New Garrett Ace Apex for the first time. We ran it in multi frequency, zero mode, iron volume at 1. This episode is the same day same site as last weeks episode. Absolutely hot colonial farm. Tons of activity by very wealthy colonists. It was an absolute fun filled day with plenty of laughs with great friends (Charlie & Paul), and bucket list finds! Huge silver, big coppers, plenty of relics, and even GOLD!

That Morgan dwarves everything else on the board lol. I was cleaning out my trash from a Civil war site this week and was double checking for any hidden gems. I washed up a piece of lead and flipped it over and it had an eagle on it! It was a mangled breast plate. Yet another reason to take your trash with you.

Awesome video! I started metal detecting 2 months ago my first machine is ace 400! Found a lot of quarters dimes and common pennies. Only best find was ww1 buckle and ww1 us 46 collor pin. Old bullets, small musket ball. Toy cars and a Boy Scout eagle badge.

I just wanted to let you know even though I've never used a metal detector when I was a kid I found some copper discs nev had any idea they could have been coins back then but now after watching your videos I think I had coins maybe even older ones like y'all find, but one day I'm hoping to be able to get me a detector and have as much fun as y'all do. Awesome finds! I found a bottle cap like that with the reeded edge. Just saw that edge and thought it might be a silver half, or maybe a silver quarter. Carefully extracted it so wouldn't scratch it. Stupid bottle cap! LOL

That weird looking chaotic chain Paul dug is a chin strap off a horse bridle, called a "curb chain". It's your brakes when riding. If it falls off, it's hard to stop with just a bit and reins when a horse doesn't quite understand "WHOOOOOAAAA!"
