      Thats great but we have to change all our lives from now. Just look how mother nature is returning. We need BALANCE, hygiene and food policies and unity/ solidarity between nations to be ready for this again. Now that all our normal lives are taken away we can truly start appreciating what needs to happen/ change.

Few are saying it's going to disappear in the summer, but it's pretty clear from the stats that it's a lot more common in the Northern Hemisphere than in the Southern. Tropical areas without a lot of climate control report much fewer cases.

    As a biologist and researcher, it’s quite unique to see how fast research progresses once enough funding is provided. In March alone, the first US vaccine trial has started, an antibody against a COVID-19 surface protein has been developed and a new drug has shown to block the entry of COVID-19 into lung cells (I'm planning to make a new video about new COVID-19 breakthroughs soon). Despite being an overwhelming pandemic, I think that we will come up with a treatment in the nearer future!

      The idiots from Cheddar only spew fake news. Let me explain why respiratory viruses (e.g., influenza, colds, etc.) are seasonal. It has nothing to do with the weather and everything to do with the school year, where the virus finds a reservoir of kids and young adults to infect in close proximity and inside enclosed classrooms.
      Infections begin in fall when kids are in class and peak during January and February after spreading in schools throughout the nation. Then, in Spring, it stalls a little l because of extended Easter breaks which take kids out of school and breaks the continuity of transmission. No one knows what it does in winter breaks because kids spend a lot of time in close proximity with family indoors. But it really drops in Summer when all kids are out of school. It has everything to do with social distancing due to school recesses.
      That's the real reason why respiratory viruses are seasonal. It's the schools, stupid, not the weather! Viruses don't care about the weather since they spend 99.9% of their time inside warm bodies with constant temperatures.

    • @rodneyboehner3007
      @rodneyboehner3007 Před 4 lety +5

      @Danish Mahmood Khan/SICAS Boys Yeah, it's more contagious than the flu; however, it would be even more contagious if school was not dismissed, which is why they dismissed all classes. In other words, it's contagious in the summer, but it would be infecting even more people if schools were in session. That's why they're canceling EVERYTHING. They want to make it a SUPER-SUMMER VACATION right now for everyone. It has nothing to do with weather, and everything to do with institutions that congregate people in tight constrained and enclosed spaces.
      The problem they don't see yet is that if a whole family who is exposed to one infected member in the same household, the rest of the exposed family members will get infected. So they need to quarantine exposed family members without symptoms away from infected family members. Social congregation has to be limited to 1 person.

Also it seems that cold weather slows things down, if you, much l e s s a microscopic thing was frozen, you would be slow, or in suspended animation,... Or dead. In summer when all are sweating, feels like a jungle, drinking water, swimming, there is lots more liquid. Everyone knows the thing does not replicate on dry cold surfaces. In short - it won't. It has been summer in the southern hemisphere since December and the corona-virus has spread there too. I live in South Africa, where the coronavirus has spread fast in the last 2 weeks regardless of the weather, so I don't see that the warmer weather has had any effect at all. If it had had any effect on its spread, this effect has been a small one at most. The reason South Africa has only now been hit by the virus is because tourists have only recently begun showing up to enjoy (and bring their diseases to) South Africa's summer.

      First, the diseases only lives a few hours on surfaces, that "72 hours" on the video is bullcrap, it's lab settings that don't replicate reality.
      The virus has been eradicated in China. They won. We just need to keep all borders closed.
      A treatment is in the work currently, it might take a few months of tests though but it's good news.
      Quanrantine is giving very positive numbers in France and Italy (and France has only barely started it).
      Hot temperatures will likely help. (but as the video says, it won't be all magical).
      When masks are mass produced, it will entirely stop the pandemic. A person wearing a mask can't transmit the virus at all. That's how easy it is to stop it.
