- Thai Street Food Vendors at a Fair in Thailand: Eating Thai Street Food. NEW THAILAND FOOD AND TRAVEL VIDEOS EVERY WEDNESDAY. Subscribe: / darrenb3 . Thai street food is everywhere in Thailand. It’s cheap and it is really delicious! Thai food is known as being one of the best cuisines in the world to eat. This was a fair, also called an OTOP, in Krabi Thailand. All the food is cooked fresh as the vendors sell it, and as I mentioned, it is delicious! It’s some of my favourite Thai cuisine, and there is so much variety of street food in Thailand!

There is so much Thai street food in Thailand and Thailand is known for being one of the best places in the world for eating street food.
Check out my Thai food video: Thai Food Guide: 10 Delicious Thai Foods You Should Eat in Thailand
• Thai Food Guide: 10 De...
All of the dishes in this video are very common as Thai street food, but you will also find them at Thai restaurants. You’ll find Thai street food on many street corners in Thailand, as well as at every market, be it in Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok or Pattaya. Thai food has taken many influences from Chinese food so you will find many familiar flavours. Thai food markets and night markets are some of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all over Thailand, you’re never far from one. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since April 2012 in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are also a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai food markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

I post new Thailand food and travel videos and vlogs every Wednesday about Thailand: places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, street food, Thai recipes, eating Thai food, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel, including Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi and other Thailand destinations.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

This video was gorgeous Darren. From Aorn and Anandas huge smiles to the beautiful flowers and those wonderful home goods and furniture. All of the new stuff was such a pleasure to see. Thank you for sharing it all with us. Please tell Aorn and Amanda hello from the US. Big hugs to you all as always.
Thanks Gina! Yes, there was heaps of variety at that fair, we love visiting them. Hi back from Aorn and Ananda and hugs back from all of us.

Thank you Suzanne, I'm glad you're enjoying them. All the best to you and yours too!
Bacon on a sausage....YUM YUM! So many sausage flavors...I would never get past the sausage ROFL! Please let Aorn know her increased participation and speaking is appreciated. She is simply adorable. Lucky you! Ananda and his orange slushy lol...Do you and he talk much yet? Big smile from him toward the end as Aorn and Ananda walked past the camera...so sweet. Thanks for another great vid w/fam and food.
Yes, that sausage shop was great, I wish I had tried more of their wares. Ananda talks quite a bit, no sentences yet, but lots of words, "Oh no!", "Wow!" and "Careful!" seem to be his favourites :). I'll pass on your message to Aorn, yes, I am definitely a lucky guy! Thanks for watching Missy B, I hope all is well.
Great vid mate. I've been to Thailand 4 times and by the looks of it i haven't even scratched the surface when it comes to their food.
Thanks again!
Thanks Dwayne. I've been living in Thailand for nearly 6 years and I'm still discovering new foods regularly. There is so much variety here!

Yes, it was a great fair 👍🏻👍🏻
Great stuff Darren but now all I can think about are those Issan sausages! I need a holiday back there soon! 🙏🇹🇭
Hahaha, it does sound like you need to get back soon Mark, good luck with the trip plans!
darrenb3 very much so! 20 cm of snow and -6c yesterday hasn't helped! Checking Skyscanner next my friend! 😊✈️🇹🇭🙏

Hahaha, I wondering how long it would take for someone to comment on it :)
TOP VIDEO AS USUAL DARREN HOPE ALL FAMILY ARE WELL TAKE CARE. I would love to live over their inThailand been numerous occasions when I was young people are very friendly and good hearted
Thanks Des! Yes, we're all good and yes, most people in Thailand are lovely. It's a great place to visit for that reason.
Love seeing the local produce available, most of the other videos just focus on getting crappy western food
Yes, I don't eat much western food, either on, or off camera.
you are such a tease! gimme the other half
Hahaha, other half coming soon :)
Thank goodness I eat before coming to watch your video if not I will definitely lose my appetites. I miss Thai sausages the most. Everything look so good and yummy.
Hahaha, yes, it's a good idea to eat before watching :). The Thai sausages are great, I know I would miss them if I lived elsewhere. I hope you're having a great week!
Still living the gastronomic dream I see, Darren. At least I've been able to sample some authentic Thai nosh in the last week. I also like the idea of the snags wrapped in bacon. (killer combo) Might try that trick when I get back home. The food in Krabi looks amazing! I have my favorite market in Chiang Mai but it doesn't have the variety you have there. You have the benefit of the Malaysian influence as well with roti and the like. I envy you.
Yes, mate, we certainly are, there's so much great food here in Krabi. And yes, those snags were certainly something else, I'll be keeping an eye out for them in the future!
Anothr great one Darren, lucky for me this time I'd already eaten, 55555
Hahaha, that's a good idea Keith ;). Glad you enjoyed the video!
Darren mate...Issan sausages ! 👍
Yes mate, I bet you're missing them. Hope you're staying warm!
I love thailand 💞
Me too.
Such great video. Makes me hungry :D Wish I could go but my my employer refuses to give me time off :P
Thanks Susanne, I hope you're able to get to Thailand one day soon.
Thank you. I'm watching your videos as a preparation. Have reached the Vegemite one and cant stop laughing! #Foodie
I gotta try those Isan Sausages ! apparently they are slightly fermented and go really well with pickled ginger. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Yes, some are fermented, but not all of them. There are a number of different types, but they're all delicious and they all go well with ginger.
Baconfest! Love it...
Indeed, those sausages were great!
Good VDO
Thanks.
Nice video thanks for sharing, i really enjoy watching your channel. I like to subscribe to the channel.
Thank you 🙏
@@darrenb3 I always like to watch your videos with my wife, always to see well known places and also some new ones we still want to see.
I miss you all for some time
Thanks.
I love I videos. Nice to see the family interact more.
U editing and photo skills is really getting good.
Only thing I don't like is that.....I always getting hungry after 5555 o and that u only make 1 video a month.
But I understand u busy with teaching. So it's ok.
Take care and stay safe.
Thanks Kjell. Hahaha, yes, lots of people tell me they get hungry watching my videos. I make at least one video per week, that's 4 to 5 per month, when I have time it's more. Unfortunately making videos takes a long time - usually my videos take 1 to 2 hours of work for 1 minute of finished video. I also have a job and a family, so at this stage my time is limited. Thanks for watching, you take care too!
Brother inlaw always has the issan sausage /cabbage and ginger , but insists it goes down better with Leo 😉
Cabbage, ginger, Leo ... Isaan sausages go well with pretty much anything :)
Hi Darren. Love your work! Been meaning to hit some markets for street food but kept missing most. We are in Railay beach from tomorrow - any markets that are easily accessible from there? Any info appreciated. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Lee! Markets easily accessible from Railay? ... not without a 5 km swim or boat ride I'm afraid. The morning market in Krabi Town is open daily 5am to 10am, Google Maps coordinates: 8.066334, 98.913773. Alternatively there are many markets in Krabi Town and Ao Nang on various afternoons and evenings:
The best night markets in Ao Nang are:
- The Monday, Tuesday and Friday Market. Google Maps coordinates: 8.042038, 98.843658. Open from 4pm till 7pm every Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
- The Wednesday Market. Google Maps coordinates: 8.047804, 98.810975. Open fromt 4pm till 7pm every Wednesday.
- The Thursday Market. Google Maps coordinates: 8.055723, 98.817504. Open from 4pm till 7pm every Thursday.
- The Saturday Market. Google Maps coordinates: 8.050295, 98.814983. Open from 3pm till 7pm every Saturday. In Krabi Town these night markets are very good and worth visiting too:
- The Krabi Town Pu Dam Night Market. Google Maps coordinates: 8.066559, 98.915126. Open from 5pm till 10pm every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.- The Krabi Town Walking Street Night Market. Google Maps coordinates: 8.063886, 98.915601. Open from 5pm till 10pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I hope that helps!
darrenb3 tThanks so much for getting back to me Darren. Very helpful. You rock. All the best!
Cheers Lee, enjoy Railay!
Thx for the video Doc. How long are u staying in Thailand?
Thanks for watching. I've lived in Thailand since 2012.
hi Ananda.. next time don't be shy, okay? hehe.. love to see Ananda.. :)
Hi back from Ananda :)
What is my "verdict " after this video ? Good . Thanks & LIKE .
Thanks Cristian 👍🏻👍🏻
❤️️🌟🍀👍
👍👍🙏
Nice family u have, may i know the location this market?
salted duck egg is not bad. try it over rice. lol
I'm sure it'd be good, it was just a bit difficult with no rice and trying to deal with a camera. They'll definitely feature in a future video :)
Super videos, just running too fast
Thanks!
Darrenb3, Another great vlog. I just mentioned your name on my vlog "Authentic Thai?" I hope you don't mind. FOREIGNER2B
BTW, Im in Italy. Watching your vlogs always makes me crave Thai food.
Thanks Joe, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and thanks for the mention in your vlog. I hope you can get into some more yummy Thai food soon!
Thank you! I really love your vlogs. In seven months I retire and I will enjoy plenty of Thai food. Maybe I will see you in Thailand one day. All the best to you, your lovely wife and son.
Thanks mate, do drop us a line if you get to Thailand. All the best to you too!
I'd be so fat if i lived in thailand lol.
Yes, self control is necessary here, there's delicious food everywhere!
real thai food markets
Pigs in blankets !!
Yes, very tasty ones!
I notice you say many things are yummy! Is it out of respect or have you just not run into anything foul tasting?? Haha
In general, most Thai food is delicious and for that reason Thai food is recognised as one of the best cuisines in the world. Sometimes I come across things that I do not enjoy (for example a friend recently gave me steamed wasp nest and it was terrible!) and when that happens I don't hide it. If I say something is yummy, it's because it is yummy. Here's a recent video where I tried a number of items I usually deliberately avoid. I think you'll be able to tell that I didn't enjoy most of them ;) czcams.com/video/ViHvdaNI_bI/video.html&index=14&list=PLNLfDOIkGB127MJHXT9LijgW9vatZ9KFk
Too short!
What you saw there took about me about 30 hours to film and edit. Unfortunately with a job, family and life, this week I didn't have more time to spend on the video, but there will be a second part coming on Sunday, as I said in the video.
Thirty hours, wow! And for such a short bit as well. I'll enjoy seeing part two then.
