How long can a person live with HIV?
Can a doctor tell a person how long they will live after taking a genotype and Phenotype test?

How does euthanasia work?
They don't know shit. They are not genealogist in most cases and they are basically trained to give you pills and read basic blood work. What HIV represents to any molecular biologist is dogma breaker. For most part of history molecular biology thought that RNA can't copy information to DNA and as such information flow from DNA to RNA to protein was considered linear. Hence came reverse transcriptase aka retroviruses. These are not naturally made viruses ( i doubt any virus is "alive", nature only create living organisms and viruses are not alive, but more on that from your local genealogist)
This virus can't be understood cause it was not made by human hand or nature, since technology for such complex RNA doesn't exist, meaning what ever force created this virus it is much more intelligent than human being.
What you should know is that virus is kidnapping your cells , it then transcribes its genome from RNA to DNA and it becomes part of the living cell using it to infest other cells by multiplying virulent. Virus is literally designed to kidnap life. Meaning until we invent true nano technology that could not only be smaller than a cell, but to separate RNA genome of virus from DNA and destroy virus in process and repair your cell, you are slowly dying. Thankfully human body is made out of trillions of cells and we figured out how to lower virulent to the point virus still spreads but exponentially slowly.
Most people who are infected with virus could in theory battle virus by staying strong and healthy providing they use "medicine" aka antiretroviral therapy. The stronger your body is the higher quality of your life is. In most cases people that go to gym and use some sort of progressive overload training combined with good nutrition and ART outlive most people who are "healthy" but live unhealthy lifestyles.
Go to gym, eat enough protein to build muscle and you will live long and healthy life providing ART drugs will be available in near future. Don't think about suicide or euthanasia. You could easily live to be 80 years old and die of some other complication not related to virus.
