I'm starting to feel better fr, finally. this video still is a little "under-edited" and very short, the idea is I upload the other moments this weekend. (more edited!)

Whenever I used childe to be a menace and completely mess with the hunters, it brought out an alter ego that I didn’t even know I had

childe was my favourite to play as in windtrace for both tbh, so fun messing with people as hunter and rebel with him
Childe and Zhongli are my favorites to use as hunters lol

I was playing with a Childe as Thoma (I think), and they kept taunting me with the lay bait (I was hunter). They kept saying, "COME TO THE FRONT".
Suffice to say he got me multiple times, and sacrificed himself and another rebel in his wake🤣
i was pretty bummed when windtrace ended so im really happy to have more windtrace content, thank you for your hard work:D

Sitting up somewhere, watching from above, and trying to evade the hunter when spotted was infinitely more fun than just hiding, glad that I tried it this year
and last time it was even better as the hunter didn't have infinite stamina i believe, you could actually juke!!
@@RednasYo TBH I think not being able to outrun the hunter is what made the current version's better. There's certain hazard involved once you do get spotted. If you blind them with bait or turn invisible, you can fool them and when that happens - it just feels super great.
Bahaha I played this event with sayu and said as a hunter: "sayu wants some sleep, can you guys not hide?" And the rebels actually didn't hide. That game was quiet wholesome hehe

i played windtrace exactly 58 times, and yet 50 of them were rebel and on the same 3 maps (dawn soon-to-be-destroyed winery, liyue ruins and the ayaya estate)... RNGesus hates me on a personal level man

that’s because the people you are playing with are low ar probably, they havent been to inazuma so the maps genshin choses are only liyue and monsdadt.
I played with a high ar person and I got an inazuma map.
the maps are random to some degree as once they have figured the location they will chose a random map from that location.
so anyway what I mean is your luck is still trash
Mine is 99% of the time the Liyue ruins :(
windtrace was so much fun! im excited for the venti rerun so that hopefully next year will have another windtrace :) i will agree the best fetaure is the crystalfly feature, i have about 102 crystals for condensed now mostly because of it. that xiao was throwing honestly at first, then they clutched. what a turn of events!
Do you know when Venti’s rerun is? I’ve heard it was in 2.6 but im not sure

WINDTRACE IS JUST A GOOD EVENT and one that makes you anxious too, but after all the event is just good and fun! I love this event. Good video, Rednas! This is a good video like the others :D

I really wish windtrace could be a permanent minigame in genshin... it's so much fun, and if you're lucky you could end up meeting new friends through it!

i had this one game where i was hunter in the dawn winery map and one rebel took Diluc and just like walked around and did nothing. And then i asked them why they didn't hide and they were like "THIS IS DILUC'S HOUSE SO HE WOULD'NT HIDE ". I thought that was funny so i didn't catch the Diluc the entire game haha

Windtrace is such a great event, really sad it comes once in like 69 years. The whole new hunter no stamina consumption is not needed tbh, don't know why they added it. Once u got chased u cant escape it at all unless u have transparency, can't troll either :<
Nevertheless, amazing video! Dw about the editing! Its really a tight schedule to do the recordings with all the events coming out all at once. If it was me, I'm prob dead with mails saying the events are ending and havent done anything

Man, I love windtrace 😂 once I get over the initial anxiety it gives me it's super fun actually. I always play as zhongli whether I'm hunter or rebel coz that way I can use his long legs to run 😅 but I gotta say being albedo in dawn winery is so OP. I did the strat where I stood with the maids and the hunter just passed by me, I also tried sitting down on the bench when it got dark and never got caught even though I got marked my insight 🤣 me and the other rebels had a good laugh. I was sole escapee 😎

Here's my advice:- If you really want to win a game as a hunter, then Sensor aura and imprisoning curse are must. Most of the rebels hide in corners and tight spots(unless there are some veteran CoD prop hunt players in your lobby who glitch inside walls and buildings) so sensor aura is like a literal hack. The same goes for transparency, as a rebel. Hunter's insight skill can't track you once you become invisible
.
Also tall characters or characters with sprinting/climbing passive are super viable.

I missed Windtrace the first go around because of when I started playing Genshin so I was really excited when it came back.
