As someone who just completed my grind, I have a very important tip. Set smaller goals!!! Let's say you want the F-16. Grinding from reserve seems like such a gigantic task and you wno't really see the progress. Try setting smaller goals instead. Things such as an all get lineup or getting the coolest plane in your tier. It helped me a lot.
Recently I’ve been stuck in tier 2 starting 3, I’ve just been feeling bored and just kinda sad getting dogged on because I made a stupid mistake, and then I set the game down for a week, this vid kinda opened my eyes and I wanna thank you since war thunder is one of my favorite games rn
Yes, thank you! I needed this cuz I've been kinda burning out too. It sucks when I see/hear about all these great things that happen in top tier matches from tubers and squadron chats in discord and fb and whatnot while Im stuck in rank 2-4 with no progress in army or navel, esp when these grinding events come out. The various yet constant changes make things frustrating as well. Normally I don't mind hearing get gud, however, I do get tired of hearing 'get gud' from spawn campers and toxic teammates when I get taken out by cheap tricks/tactics lol. There are tons of other frustrations but y'all already know them all lol. Anyways sorry for the rant, but thanks again so much!

That's why I try to say "skill issue" and "get good" so meme-ingly in my videos; I only say them because there definitely are situations where people deserve to be reminded- LOL! But, like you were saying, some things in war thunder you just cannot prevent, and are better off forgotten as you move asap into the next match. The thing that gave me most motivation was playing with other people, talking on voice chat laughing and joking around. Just being 4 goofball goblins in a match is a fun way to play
I just started warthunder (my best aircraft is the P-400, Rank II) I have a long way to go, but this made me remember the purpose of games: fun. I now enjoy each aircraft and instead of looking forward to getting new planes, I enjoy each aircraft while I have it. Thank you.
When i got to 9.3 tanks, the amount of helicopter and drone span hit me in the face like a truck, i hated it and that alone honestly made me more or less quit top tier unless i have a group of friends wanting to play that tier
Tbh I love using AA. Some AA vehicles are fantastic at killing both aircraft and tanks. They are super satisfying imo but definitely not everyone's playstyle.
after having problems and not being able to play since september i was finally able to play easter weekend and while i wont be playing until at least july it made me truly realize the concept of playing for fun and not grinding since i dont have time to grind
I’m stuck at tier 3 and I can’t make any SL since some lather or tiger snipes me from across the map and I’m just so tired man. I play for a little bit and realize that I’m not having fun and stop playing for a few weeks and the only reason I ever came back is because i saw some war thunder videos that kinda motivated me
I feel this- my recommendation would be to try something else out. Some BR's/gamemodes just don't work for me in the slightest! I hope you can find it in you to return more permanently :)
Im happy To hear I did it right. Im still low, ~250h and stuck in tier 4 as im too lazy to farm the sl. I just unlocked the me 262 squadron and holy fuck that shotgun of a jet is so much fun. Hell, even the speed of early Jets is such a difference, the guns just delete and its even fun just to Die sometimes. I made friends in games, escorted enemy b29s and just had a positive lookout. Gl hf is the bare minimum, giving probs on kills, gz on aces, cheering on nice team mates etc. Positive communication makes such a difference. Even if only 1 of 100 are positive back it differs a lot for my mood playing.
As war thunder players, I think it's important we make a conscious effort to bring more positivity to the community. The chat is filled with such immaturity and toxicity sometimes it's ridiculous! It would be nice if I didn't have to have my face cam covering chat during live streams lol. Ty for the comment
Every time i complete event for vehicle i take a break.When i have motivation to get vehicle i like i can get it in few weeks when Mig29 was added i got it in 2 weeks (i had Mig-21SMT) and yea playing with friends makes wt 100% better but since my friend doesn't play much i'm left alone for this ride. But i enjoy the time he plays wt with me there is a reason my only vehicle with 1000+ battles won is on EBR from winter event.And its true if you don't find that vehicle fun to play it pain to grind shit i was researching A-10 recently with av8c i had to switch to F-4e to make it more fun to grind.

All I wanted to do desperately was get to jets, I even brought the premium XP-50 and premium account to grind faster and I genuinely hated it, I finally got to jets and kinda just felt like I got bored very fast, now I hardly touch the two jets I own and I’m back playing props without the stress of trying to grind and it’s just became fun again, it’s the pressure of the grind that can really make this game feel unenjoyable and when you kinda stop caring about it it becomes fun again, that’s for me at least
This video clearly tells what a WT player needs. I do also recommend. If nothing is working out. Touch grass for a bit or play a different fun game that you know. My friend has become annoying as she nonstop plays games that are grindy besides War Thunder and keeps talking about how she hates these games along WT. Whenever I would tell her "hey, play for fun" or "Play some other game" she would either ignore the tip or go defensive to hwy she "has" to play the game.
When I first started I bought an f5 I was trash but I am definitely getting better slowly and I am thinking about buying an f4 so just keep grinding with out looking at how much is left till you get to the jet you want just don’t look to often at the tech tree it’ll make you feel like eternity before you even get your first jet
Bruh, the Older i get the harder it gets to find froends to play WT with me. Like im currently in „single player” modę in most online games D: i do miss havin laughts, support, memes and just learning from each other while we all play the gamę we enjoy and just have fun together.
I found a couple vehicle that I absolutely love to play. The Swift F7 and A7M1. It doesn't matter how the matches go. I just have fun with matches. I know those planes and love flying them.
There's definitely an element of "get good" but what's just as import is realizing the meta planes vastly outclass anything else and will stomp you, regardless of how much fun they are actually having. Making a sprint for the next plane only to realise it gets massively outclassed by what Gaijin calls 'on-par' with you is no fun at all. BR 8.0-10.0 is a fantastic example of this, where some 8.3s will get a few .50s and nothing else, while others will get SPARROWS and devastating cannons, all while flight characteristics are negligible. Until Gaijin fixes uptiering/downtiering, or completely redesigned mid-high tier BR balancing, this will always be the case.
What i do is playing a plane that i like, doesnt matter if its meta or not, like the f104, harrier, f5, a36, and now im getting the su22m3, or funny loadouts, like putting gunpods on dive bombers and using rickets as countermeasures
What helped me was to max absolutely every vehicle I had up to this point and never buy new vehicle before I max out my current one in same line. This way I learnt some tanks I thought were trash and I grew loving tanks nobody plays!
i stop playing warthunder like a year ago, i played 5 times with friends only, but bc is more fun with friend, i do enjoy seen other people playing an suffering in the game tho, i found it funy
I bring the m22 and m16 spaa up to 8.0 with me and its hilarious and so satisfying when you get a kill, love seeing CAS cry when they see they got killed by an m16 mgmc. If you know what you’re doing you will have a fun time
I did that with the bomber thing you talk about at the end of the video, joined the match like usual but while flying towards the enemy base I decided to f it and droped my bombs and went to chase fighters and got 3kills and then died lol. It was fun and they were not expecting me to do that. :D
Main problem I have is playing on console and being forced to fight PC, I know that isn’t a huge issue because of the kind of game it is, but it’s still super inconvenient because it’s harder to get keybinds that don’t overlap so I can’t use some vehicles to their full potential, performance issues, and oddly enough aiming is harder in console than it is on pc because it’s much easier to track a plane and make small adjustments on a mousepad than with your thumb
Thank Christ I’m not the only one. Going against pc on console has always felt unfair to me since pc players have so many button options and setting they can tweak so that they can play better while on console it is very limited. I can NEVER aim precisely on console and no matter how hard I try, I can’t hit the mg port on an M4 before it kills me. We shouldn’t have to fight pc players on console since it just down right unfair
I've grinded out a plane of my dreams. A Korean war era fighter that can match a sabre and mig15. Now I have to wait for gaijin to fix br compression so I can actually play it and have fun.

@@nimbosoup I honestly don't even care about the missiles that much. Yeah they are annoying and they are morning often than not found on premium planes of same br as mine that doesn't have them. The real problem imo is their speed and acceleration. Literally even the best sabre can't catch a mig21 that it often faces. So what's the point gaijin?
When you start playing Warthunder. I’m not so good at playing this game. More game plays getting a bit better till something works after too many burn outs. Seriously don’t tire yourselves out because I had to get mad through out my time during my years of playing war thunder and it is self torture. 8,402.7 hours of play time I have on War Thunder.
The game is incredible fun if it works just right, but what burns me out is the repair cost. Seeing my silver lions being drained at the current rate is horrible to me.
i kinda got bored with swedish low tier ground (2.7) but then i got the pbv 301 and my god its amazingly fun to play really gave me motivation to play the game mode more

I think if you need motivation to play a game which is supposed to be a hobby, you should just take a break from it. Games are meant to be fun and relaxing, not a job that you need to motivate yourself to get through
Before resorting to taking a break, I'd recommend being absolutely sure there's literally NOTHING in game that you can enjoy! Like I said in the video, there's so many different ways to play and vehicles to play that I'm of the opinion everyone should be able to find their niche. Still, I agree with your comment. on the topic of having fun with low tier vehicles at higher tiers, its really fun to go to top tier with an m18 and an m36 and get 4 kills (mostly from wallet warriors)
For me I just take a break that lasts between 1 to 3 months, sometimes even up to half a year for a break, I already have all vehicles in the major nations (not counting naval) so I tend to relax more not having to grind the game.
Don’t buy new vehicles above tier 4 until a sale (november). You can get good with what you have, make silver, and you will pay half as much for all your vehicles
the highest I ever plan on getting is about 8.3 for a few select nations. Top tier looks braindead and unfun and grinding out the modifications at those BRs is cancer.
My biggest quit moment as US tech is i am at rank 2-3 i dont have anything to pen the tigers and panthers till i get to t29s and t30s. which takes forever
If your having trouble with the game just take an extended break. My mental health literally got better over the course of the week by just not playing this game. Finally got back into the game 8 months later and instantly i feel worse. I have 2000 hours by the way
Once i played soviet vehicles just fine but when i have got to is-3 and played it a bit i completely gave up on playing soviet because to me is-3 was a complete garbage getting shot the barrel at any encounter so now (i know that's not a right thing to do) i am waiting for discounts to buy a "beer in hand" setup on 9.7 and grind every single soviet tech tree vehicle
Waiting for discounts is highly recommended! Personally, I have a good stash of GE rn, just waiting to get a good discount to see what I should buy :) I also need some grinders for every country basically other than USA!
@@nimbosoup yeah, i have 4-5 rank of every nation(ground vehicles) but i plan to grind out every nation possible and even consider getting some ships because i want to play on massive battleships. I am definitely not new)) I have rank 100 and old guard badge but there were several occasions where i dropped playing the game for more than few years because of different circumstances but now i got back to the game because ive made a friend who also plays war thunder so now it is a lot more enjoyable to play
bro i started war thunder on like jan 28th 2023 and i already have 492 hours... i work nights and play afterward cuz there is "nothing else to do" in the middle of the night. very fun but i feel the need to do something else creeping in, and 492 hours in 2 months proves that is probably true lol... but i aint stoppin cuz i am pretty decent now... in arcade :( maybe i'll start peppering in some realistic more and more until the switch is made.
i get dogged on every game only game made i dont absolutely suck on is the air battles against AI bombers and i usually only get 5/6 kills. i just hope ill get better at realistic air battles so i dont rip my wings and flaps off in a dive or get shot once and die where others seem to take all 800 rounds from my .50s or cannons

I've found taking week long breaks helps prevent burnout. Yeah it slows things down but trying to keep yourself going in a game that you're not enjoying isn't helpful.
I started playing War Thunder last year... played for around 160hours and just full on grinded Germany to 6.3 and then i stopped cause the grind just got too stupid.. Picked the game up again couple days ago and got premium and been having fun again , just reached 7.3 germany and that tier is already so much more fun than the before Also i started France and their starter tanks are pretty fun aswell
Recently, I and the whole match have been getting severe lag spikes.. the worst I had yet, literally the entire team, both enemy and friendly, were teleporting around the map for 5-6minutes straight.. I have been playing since 2014, and I never experienced something that badly before and slowly started to lose interest in the game in general.. they keep bringing out new jets yet never fix the servers.. I was going to buy some vehicles but instead I bought 4 games and a movie instead and I feel happier.. I may never return to warthunder as it's just getting boring for me...
I did have fun with friends but they all went to different games.. the best memory I've had with them in war thunder was using the asu-57 in a 8.0 match sneaking up on players and just pummeling them from all angles.. and I haven't made any friends recently..
Mate, I’m having a bit of a problem with War Thunder. After the big update my game started stuttering A LOT even though my graphics card seems to be fine. I only have this issue and even with everything on minimum settings getting +180fps it suddenly stutters and it freaking harms my gameplay since I stay a long time unable to respond and that’s pushing me away from the game. I tried reinstalling the game, updating the drivers, checking for corrupted data, nothing works. I play Forza Horizon 5 on Ultra just alright at about 70fps so It can’t be the graphics card. What should I do? I want to play, I want to grind but I just can’t, or actually I can but then I’ll end frustrated because of dying without even being able to shoot
If other games are working just fine, and you've tried verifying game integrity on steam, making sure no files are corrupt etc etc, I'm very sorry but I honestly don't know what to tell you! I'm not a super technical person. I'd say try reinstalling drivers, maybe updating BIOS, making sure your windows install is fine? Could be a GPU power draw thing as well; perhaps your GPU power spikes and can't be supplied enough wattage from your PSU? These are all just very theoretical, kinda just spewing here, like I said unfortunately I'm not super technical. My recommendation would be to ask around on reddit and/or the war thunder forums; I'm sure this issue isn't unique to just you. For what it's worth, I'm sorry you have to go through this! Trust me, I know how it feels to play games on a laggy pc lol. So frustrating. Also, I've been made aware there have been a LOT of weird bugs/glitches affiliated with the new patch; seeing as how you said that's when it started, it's entirely possible this has nothing to do with your hardware or software. In this case, I suppose all you can do is wait for a hotfix. Again, my apologies I can't be more helpful in this, but hopefully I've given you some ideas/resources to figure it out! i play from time to time, but the fact that i get 8fps in the hangar and in the test drive with 10% gpu usage since some random update has stopped me from playing
I've heard multiple people say since the new update they've been having these issues- you're not alone. I suppose all you can do is wait, but I'm fairly certain there is coming a patch or hotfix for this (probably soon). For what it's worth, I'm sorry this is happening to you, and I hope you can get back into the game when it's fixed!
no i don't enjoy any vehicle but at least modern one looks better and if i'm at top tier i don't have to worry about up tier and get pure depression because their vehicle is a lot better
my current goal is trying to log in and play at least 1 game and collect my daily reward until i get the bmp-2m which is what i feel like will be a fun break from the grind of mid tier russia and low tier germany which are the nations i play the most, and i also want it for being able to finally kill my brother in custom lobbies, as he has an almost maxed american tree so he can easily kill me and that has been the main reason i keep going back to war thunder
For me, War Thunder is that one game where it's all skill issue. I always felt that my death was my fault, not enemy luck or something. Sometimes I even blame myself for getting a kill. Like I get hit in the tail, it gets yellow, I still win the dogfight, but at that point it was just lucky it wasn't my tail controls, So I never felt burnt out. Usually it's just that I want to play a different game for some reason. (Like Stormworks, or World of Warships (Please Gaijin, Add Kaga.))
I agree whit get good. Am a very good naval player and am not just saying that. I make around 150-350k silver per match whit around 6-12 kills per match. When I need silver and just want to have fun I usely play naval OR a tank I have fun whit.

Honestly really helped, I started to explore warthunder instead of only grinding.

All I wanted to do desperately was get to jets, I even brought the premium XP-50 and premium account to grind faster and I genuinely hated it, I finally got to jets and kinda just felt like I got bored very fast, now I hardly touch the two jets I own and I’m back playing props without the stress of trying to grind and it’s just became fun again, it’s the pressure of the grind that can really make this game feel unenjoyable and when you kinda stop caring about it it becomes fun again, that’s for me at least
I quit war thunder a while ago, and feel so much better for it
I imagine making these videos on War Thunder is a form of therapy for the abuse of War Thunder 😂
This video clearly tells what a WT player needs. I do also recommend. If nothing is working out. Touch grass for a bit or play a different fun game that you know. My friend has become annoying as she nonstop plays games that are grindy besides War Thunder and keeps talking about how she hates these games along WT. Whenever I would tell her "hey, play for fun" or "Play some other game" she would either ignore the tip or go defensive to hwy she "has" to play the game.
When I first started I bought an f5 I was trash but I am definitely getting better slowly and I am thinking about buying an f4 so just keep grinding with out looking at how much is left till you get to the jet you want just don’t look to often at the tech tree it’ll make you feel like eternity before you even get your first jet

I found a couple vehicle that I absolutely love to play. The Swift F7 and A7M1. It doesn't matter how the matches go. I just have fun with matches. I know those planes and love flying them.
There's definitely an element of "get good" but what's just as import is realizing the meta planes vastly outclass anything else and will stomp you, regardless of how much fun they are actually having. Making a sprint for the next plane only to realise it gets massively outclassed by what Gaijin calls 'on-par' with you is no fun at all. BR 8.0-10.0 is a fantastic example of this, where some 8.3s will get a few .50s and nothing else, while others will get SPARROWS and devastating cannons, all while flight characteristics are negligible. Until Gaijin fixes uptiering/downtiering, or completely redesigned mid-high tier BR balancing, this will always be the case.
What i do is playing a plane that i like, doesnt matter if its meta or not, like the f104, harrier, f5, a36, and now im getting the su22m3, or funny loadouts, like putting gunpods on dive bombers and using rickets as countermeasures
What helped me was to max absolutely every vehicle I had up to this point and never buy new vehicle before I max out my current one in same line. This way I learnt some tanks I thought were trash and I grew loving tanks nobody plays!

I bring the m22 and m16 spaa up to 8.0 with me and its hilarious and so satisfying when you get a kill, love seeing CAS cry when they see they got killed by an m16 mgmc. If you know what you’re doing you will have a fun time
I did that with the bomber thing you talk about at the end of the video, joined the match like usual but while flying towards the enemy base I decided to f it and droped my bombs and went to chase fighters and got 3kills and then died lol. It was fun and they were not expecting me to do that. :D

Main problem I have is playing on console and being forced to fight PC, I know that isn’t a huge issue because of the kind of game it is, but it’s still super inconvenient because it’s harder to get keybinds that don’t overlap so I can’t use some vehicles to their full potential, performance issues, and oddly enough aiming is harder in console than it is on pc because it’s much easier to track a plane and make small adjustments on a mousepad than with your thumb
Thank Christ I’m not the only one. Going against pc on console has always felt unfair to me since pc players have so many button options and setting they can tweak so that they can play better while on console it is very limited. I can NEVER aim precisely on console and no matter how hard I try, I can’t hit the mg port on an M4 before it kills me. We shouldn’t have to fight pc players on console since it just down right unfair
What helped me most was just switching nations totaly for like a week or a day or two or just keep switching after every battle tedt every tank
I've grinded out a plane of my dreams. A Korean war era fighter that can match a sabre and mig15. Now I have to wait for gaijin to fix br compression so I can actually play it and have fun.
D: I remember the sabre v mig 15's fights back in the old days at "top tier".... lol so weird to think about!

@@nimbosoup I honestly don't even care about the missiles that much. Yeah they are annoying and they are morning often than not found on premium planes of same br as mine that doesn't have them. The real problem imo is their speed and acceleration. Literally even the best sabre can't catch a mig21 that it often faces. So what's the point gaijin?

More game plays getting a bit better till something works after too many burn outs. Seriously don’t tire yourselves out because I had to get mad through out my time during my years of playing war thunder and it is self torture. 8,402.7 hours of play time I have on War Thunder.

The game is incredible fun if it works just right, but what burns me out is the repair cost. Seeing my silver lions being drained at the current rate is horrible to me.
i kinda got bored with swedish low tier ground (2.7) but then i got the pbv 301 and my god its amazingly fun to play really gave me motivation to play the game mode more

I think if you need motivation to play a game which is supposed to be a hobby, you should just take a break from it. Games are meant to be fun and relaxing, not a job that you need to motivate yourself to get through
Before resorting to taking a break, I'd recommend being absolutely sure there's literally NOTHING in game that you can enjoy! Like I said in the video, there's so many different ways to play and vehicles to play that I'm of the opinion everyone should be able to find their niche. Still, I agree with your comment. on the topic of having fun with low tier vehicles at higher tiers, its really fun to go to top tier with an m18 and an m36 and get 4 kills (mostly from wallet warriors)
For me I just take a break that lasts between 1 to 3 months, sometimes even up to half a year for a break, I already have all vehicles in the major nations (not counting naval) so I tend to relax more not having to grind the game.
Don’t buy new vehicles above tier 4 until a sale (november). You can get good with what you have, make silver, and you will pay half as much for all your vehicles
there is something inherently wrong with the game when a video about mental health and general philosophy in regards to the game exist.
I can play at 9.7-10.7, i love modern tanks. But i find myself always dropping back to 3.7-4.7. Its just more fun there.
The break I took was the worst thing I could have done. Couldn't catch up at all, I'm not even close to being as good as I was before
the highest I ever plan on getting is about 8.3 for a few select nations. Top tier looks braindead and unfun and grinding out the modifications at those BRs is cancer.

My biggest quit moment as US tech is i am at rank 2-3 i dont have anything to pen the tigers and panthers till i get to t29s and t30s. which takes forever
If your having trouble with the game just take an extended break. My mental health literally got better over the course of the week by just not playing this game. Finally got back into the game 8 months later and instantly i feel worse. I have 2000 hours by the way
Once i played soviet vehicles just fine but when i have got to is-3 and played it a bit i completely gave up on playing soviet because to me is-3 was a complete garbage getting shot the barrel at any encounter so now (i know that's not a right thing to do) i am waiting for discounts to buy a "beer in hand" setup on 9.7 and grind every single soviet tech tree vehicle
Waiting for discounts is highly recommended! Personally, I have a good stash of GE rn, just waiting to get a good discount to see what I should buy :) I also need some grinders for every country basically other than USA!

I am definitely not new)) I have rank 100 and old guard badge but there were several occasions where i dropped playing the game for more than few years because of different circumstances but now i got back to the game because ive made a friend who also plays war thunder so now it is a lot more enjoyable to play
bro i started war thunder on like jan 28th 2023 and i already have 492 hours... i work nights and play afterward cuz there is "nothing else to do" in the middle of the night.
very fun but i feel the need to do something else creeping in, and 492 hours in 2 months proves that is probably true lol... but i aint stoppin cuz i am pretty decent now... in arcade :( maybe i'll start peppering in some realistic more and more until the switch is made.

i get dogged on every game only game made i dont absolutely suck on is the air battles against AI bombers and i usually only get 5/6 kills. i just hope ill get better at realistic air battles so i dont rip my wings and flaps off in a dive or get shot once and die where others seem to take all 800 rounds from my .50s or cannons

I've found taking week long breaks helps prevent burnout. Yeah it slows things down but trying to keep yourself going in a game that you're not enjoying isn't helpful.
I started playing War Thunder last year... played for around 160hours and just full on grinded Germany to 6.3 and then i stopped cause the grind just got too stupid..
Picked the game up again couple days ago and got premium and been having fun again , just reached 7.3 germany and that tier is already so much more fun than the before
Also i started France and their starter tanks are pretty fun aswell
Recently, I and the whole match have been getting severe lag spikes.. the worst I had yet, literally the entire team, both enemy and friendly, were teleporting around the map for 5-6minutes straight.. I have been playing since 2014, and I never experienced something that badly before and slowly started to lose interest in the game in general.. they keep bringing out new jets yet never fix the servers.. I was going to buy some vehicles but instead I bought 4 games and a movie instead and I feel happier.. I may never return to warthunder as it's just getting boring for me...
I did have fun with friends but they all went to different games.. the best memory I've had with them in war thunder was using the asu-57 in a 8.0 match sneaking up on players and just pummeling them from all angles.. and I haven't made any friends recently..

Mate, I’m having a bit of a problem with War Thunder. After the big update my game started stuttering A LOT even though my graphics card seems to be fine. I only have this issue and even with everything on minimum settings getting +180fps it suddenly stutters and it freaking harms my gameplay since I stay a long time unable to respond and that’s pushing me away from the game. I tried reinstalling the game, updating the drivers, checking for corrupted data, nothing works. I play Forza Horizon 5 on Ultra just alright at about 70fps so It can’t be the graphics card. What should I do? I want to play, I want to grind but I just can’t, or actually I can but then I’ll end frustrated because of dying without even being able to shoot
If other games are working just fine, and you've tried verifying game integrity on steam, making sure no files are corrupt etc etc, I'm very sorry but I honestly don't know what to tell you! I'm not a super technical person. I'd say try reinstalling drivers, maybe updating BIOS, making sure your windows install is fine? Could be a GPU power draw thing as well; perhaps your GPU power spikes and can't be supplied enough wattage from your PSU? These are all just very theoretical, kinda just spewing here, like I said unfortunately I'm not super technical. My recommendation would be to ask around on reddit and/or the war thunder forums; I'm sure this issue isn't unique to just you. For what it's worth, I'm sorry you have to go through this! Trust me, I know how it feels to play games on a laggy pc lol. So frustrating. Also, I've been made aware there have been a LOT of weird bugs/glitches affiliated with the new patch; seeing as how you said that's when it started, it's entirely possible this has nothing to do with your hardware or software. In this case, I suppose all you can do is wait for a hotfix. Again, my apologies I can't be more helpful in this, but hopefully I've given you some ideas/resources to figure it out! I've heard multiple people say since the new update they've been having these issues- you're not alone. I suppose all you can do is wait, but I'm fairly certain there is coming a patch or hotfix for this (probably soon). For what it's worth, I'm sorry this is happening to you, and I hope you can get back into the game when it's fixed!

my current goal is trying to log in and play at least 1 game and collect my daily reward until i get the bmp-2m which is what i feel like will be a fun break from the grind of mid tier russia and low tier germany which are the nations i play the most, and i also want it for being able to finally kill my brother in custom lobbies, as he has an almost maxed american tree so he can easily kill me and that has been the main reason i keep going back to war thunder

For me, War Thunder is that one game where it's all skill issue. I always felt that my death was my fault, not enemy luck or something. Sometimes I even blame myself for getting a kill. Like I get hit in the tail, it gets yellow, I still win the dogfight, but at that point it was just lucky it wasn't my tail controls, So I never felt burnt out. Usually it's just that I want to play a different game for some reason. (Like Stormworks, or World of Warships (Please Gaijin, Add Kaga.))

Am a very good naval player and am not just saying that. I make around 150-350k silver per match whit around 6-12 kills per match.
When I need silver and just want to have fun I usely play naval OR a tank I have fun whit.
