YESS!!! My favorite movie of all time soooo stoked to watch this!
Nick my man’s!!!!!!
I love that my favorite reactors message each other ❤️ love both you guys
I gotta admit... the quality held.
Not my favorite movie, but it is my favorite Batman movie.
This is my favorite movie too!
He "saved" Harvey instead of Rachel because Joker purposely gave him the wrong address, because he knew he would go after Rachel.
You mean the Joker told a FIB!?
no, he chose Harvey for the sake of Gotham, had Bruce gone and saved Rachel, she never would've forgiven him and hated him the rest of his life, he chose the needs of the many over the needs of the one.
@@UltimateGamerCC no he chose Racherl and you can see that on Batmans face when he saw Harvey. The Joker gave him the wrong adresas to fuck with him
@@UltimateGamerCC Batman told Gordon he was going after Rachel. That plus his stunned hesitation when he finds Harvey where he expects to find her says it all.
@@UltimateGamerCC Bruce specifically chose to save Rachael. He even said so when Gordon asks "which one are YOU going after". Joker PURPOSELY switched the addresses he gave to Batman knowing he would trick Batman into going to the opposite address then the one that he valued the most.
Heath Ledger… man what an actor. His performance as the Joker is still one of the greatest performances put to film in my opinion. RIP to a legend gone too soon!
He was fucking awesome man
Fucking phenomenal. A role so good it literally killed a man.
Did you set him in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, the film he was making when he died? Do good with remnants of the Joker in the acting.
@@jainelson8840 imagine the roles he wouldve had today
They should put him in more movies
‘The joker is living his best life man’ is LITERALLY it. He loves every second of it.
I loved that comment!
"The Joker is living his best life!" and "The Joker is the G.O.A.T! Baa Baa Baa" had me doubled over laughing! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Another fun fact:Michael Caine had a line after Joker crashed the campaign party but Caine was so freaked out by Heaths Joker that he completely forgot 😂
I read somewhere that was their actual first interaction with Heath ledger in full costume as the joker and that's why caine couldn't say his lines and why Rachel looks so disgusted by him.
@@brewcityjesus that's correct
And when Joker clapped in the holding cell was thought up on the spot by Ledger.
Also when Joker bangs the denoting with his hand all done by Heath why he jumped when the explosion went off. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@hectorcartagena2870 I always found that part funny
Gamble: “You think you can steal from us and just walk away??” 😡
Joker: “Yeah..” 👀
I really think joker telling Bruce the wrong address was an absolutely remarkable subtlety into the character of Batman, of how Batman conducts himself, of Joker's opinion of Batman. He gave the opposite addresses because if Batman cares more about Gotham then he did Rachel - then he would have went to save Dent and would have ended up saving Rachel whom he wanted to actually save anyways. But Joker already understood batman's motives and knew he would go to save Rachel, which is why he said Batman was gonna break his one rule. He knew Batman would choose Rachel over Gotham, and in doing so end up saving Dent, and as a result Dent would go insane and Batman would have to kill him to stop him, all the while Batman thought it would be the Joker he would end up killing.
Damn. I never thought about that. That's amazing.
well yes, it shows that he really isn't as moral as he likes to think which is one of the biggest things that joker tries to prove to batman. You just gotta drive someone far enough to where they choose to be selfish rather than be moral. Killing a boat of criminals isn't very moral but the alternative is inevitable death. Had they actually pressed the button, I think the civilian remote would have blown up its own ship just to prove the hypocrisy of the situation where the criminal throws out the remote yet the civilian is debating with a detonator in his hand whether he should press it or not and he's way more conflicted than the criminals. Joker never plays simply. The choice is also a punishment. Should batman choose love, he will lose it for not being a moral and saviour of the town. Should he choose whats best for the city, He will lose all the progress of what could be but keep his love, although he would've most likely been just as destroyed.
I always assumed rachel and dent were at the same location in different parts of the building and batman happened to get to de t first cuz rachel looked like she was on the roof.
It was a great plan, but the Joker was lucky that Dent got half his face burned off as well. I doubt that a man like that would go completely nuts after the woman he loved died. Combine his woman dying with his inability to possibly court more women, or the woman he chooses then yeah, I can see him going crazy like that. Especially since the “2 face” spirit was in him since he worked for internal affairs.
I love the Joker’s negative arc however. He sees that the boats don’t explode, gets dissapointed for a very very brief moment, but then goes on to blow them up anyway. Just to make it seem like he was right all along.
@@VonJay Harvey literally had a man in the back alley threatening to kill him lol. Harvey already had that in him, like joker said, madness is like gravity, all it takes is a little push.
Aside from heath ledgers amazingly deranged and charismatic performance, what I love about this joker is the mystery surrounding him. He doesn’t have a backstory or origin, he’s more like a force of nature than a person. Even without superpowers, he’s a strategic genius, knows a lot about how people’s minds work, and clearly has some combat training. He also doesn’t have any weaknesses, he doesn’t have anything to lose and he doesn’t fear death. Even if he’s killed, it’s sort of a victory for him because his only goal is chaos.
A great deal of this plays into the Dark Metal storyline in DC! FI you haven't read it, check it out, it will blow your mind!
This was very eloquently put...
@Space Vatnik it was theorized that he was a former green barey
“if I’m going to have a back story, at least I can make it multiple choice.” Or something to that effect
He doesn’t have or need a back story there are lot’s of people in the world who just want to destroy it and not all are mentally insane some would be considered highly intelligent they just hate the system
RIP Heath Ledger. He did such a great job as the Joker.
Heath ledger was the best part of the movie
He deserved every bit of that Oscar, I was devastated when he passed away before getting it though
I didnt see Heath as the Joker at all! I saw the Joker looked a lot like Heath!
Great no , is perfect
Just your friendly neighborhood reminder that some people might say that the _emotional weight of role of the joker_ is what led to Heath Ledger's demise but his peers have since confirmed that wasn't the case. I don't know how much that affects anything but at the very least it's better not to spread misinformation about the departed.
Don't spread hate to those that still think that's how it happened though, it is after all a sensible misunderstanding considering how great and in depth his performance was💜
This movie is a masterpiece. I was one of the haters when they announced Heath Ledger was going to play Joker. I was like "booo, the teenage hearthrob guy!?" I was so very wrong to doubt him. He nailed it.
Same. I thought the studio executives did too much drugs and it's why they made that decision. I'm glad to admit I was wrong.
@@chaost4544 I'd like to say I learned my lesson, but I went through the same doubt/surprise when Joaquin Phoenix was announced for his Joker movie, but more because I didn't want to see a Joker backstory. Part of what made this joker so menacing was that his story keeps changing. But maybe that's what Phoenix's movie was about too. We can't exactly trust what we are seeing in that one.
I was too young to care about casting at the time (I do remember the posters in my local theater though!). I’m just so glad Nolan and Ledger had a similar vision for the character that they followed through with. Nobody else could have pulled off this performance except Heath.
same... i was like the guy from "A knights Tale" ... but boy we were wrong....
Same. At the time my choice for Joker was Joaquin Phoenix. Whoops.
Ledger's performance was one of a kind, I don't think anyone will ever top his Joker performance.
^^^ THIS
What about Phoenix?
@@meowfive7686 Phoenix was also pretty phenomenal. BUT noone tops Heath Ledger. No. One.
STFU nobody cares anymore about the Joker it's getting old & boring & annoying 💯 Scarecrow & Bane would both kick the shit outta him💯

Don't know if you got the thing about Dent's coin: it has two heads, it can be seen when he gives it to Rachel before cops lock him up. So, when he flips a coin he knows what he is going to do, and when he puts Joker's minion life on a flip its just intimidation tactics. When he gets burned though, the coin is damaged on one side, so now when Dent goes mental he indeed puts those life on flip of a coin, following Joker's preach that everything is chaos and only thing that decides things is chance.
Well, Joker didn't mention the word "chance". That was Harvey's interpretation.
The interview scene. Supposedly Heath took Christian away from everyone and told him to really hit him for the scene to make it as real as possible. Gets me every time
Its highly regarded as one of the best Batman movies ever...Although, being a 90's kid, I still have a soft spot for Michael Keaton's Batman
Even though I was at some of the filming for this movie, I still prefer the two tim burton film's. And no one plays a better batman than Keaton imho.
Agreed, the Keaton/Burton films were dark when compared to Adam West's goofy- kinda-for-kids take on the storyline.
But even that Gotham wasn't as grounded as this, I mean it was Tim Burton after all, still love them Always.
This is pretty much a serious crime drama like "Heat" or "The Departed"
just happens to have Batman in it.
@@TheRetroManRandySavage He was a perfect Bruce Wayne as well, that comic accurate charm with the right amount of mystery in the public eye. Great cast all around
Highly regarded as one of the best Batman movies? It’s highly regarded as one of the best comic book movies ever.

This movie, the acting, the way it was written, everything. Instant classic!

By far his best line in the movie and prob one of the best lines by any villain in movie history is “This town deserves a better class of criminal, and i’m gonna give it to them”. Simple yet deep and thought provoking. RIP Heath Ledger thank you for giving us your best performance for last.
“Madness is like gravity. All you need is a little push.”
Joker movie explained.
This is, hands down, one of the best comic movies ever made. The acting, story, visuals...all of it, just amazing.
Definitely, all these years later and it's still amazing.
I agree but it's also the least like a comic book lol
Watchmen
@@silentjohnny4988 it is a comic book movie
Yeah I think the reason why its one of the best is because of director Christopher Nolan, who just really made sure to make this movie as relatable to the audience as possible by having plenty of drama and character development in it. Personally I don't know what you guys think, but I can't stomach most comic book movies because I find them unrelatable and the characters too 2Dimensional to be able to draw any good lessons or morals from them. These kinds of movies require a lot of creative license in order to introduce this sufficiently into the plot and characters. Also trying as hard as you can to make the action 'more'' realistic rather than outlandish definitely helps this.
A really cool fun fact about this movie is the scene where the joker blows up the hospital and the button doesnt work on the first click was actually a mistake. The detonation was supposed to happen as soon as the joker pushed the button but the timing on the explosion was off. Instead of stopping the scene, Heath Ledger stayed in character and kept clicking the button till the explosion finally happened. The scene fit so well with the Jokers personality, it was used in the final cut of the movie. One of my favorite parts of the movie and it was improvised
Not true, unfortunately. Nolan confirmed in the DVD BTS that the sequence was co-ordinated that way, so that Heath could actually walk out from the hospital, and have time to get far away enough for the explosion to happen safely.
@@TrackpadProductions he did improvise the faulty detonator though, right? I'm sure I heard that somewhere.
@@adolfdassler9457 It is possible that he originally came up with the idea to fiddle with the button, but the cast and crew all knew exactly what was going to happen long before it did.

Ain't no confusion, Vigilantism is legally a crime. However, we all know that in life exceptions can be made for special/unique cases, and because Batman helps Gotham and makes such an impact, it's left up to the Commissioner himself to decide morally what to do about Batman, praise him as an ally of justice, or chase him down for Vigilantism, or secretly do both.
You asked how the Joker can do all this without having any super powers - the Joker is an absolute master of cold reading a room or a situation ( the skill used by con artists, hucksters, etc.) - in a couple seconds he knows who the leaders are and how most of the people will react to whatever chaos he’s bringing - he tends to know people better than they know themselves and then exploits this. Combined with God tier confidence, a psychopaths utter disdain for society’s rules, and a genius intellect, and a decent skill in combat makes the Joker formidable.
I think the jokers strength is that he's unexpected, he's too crazy to predict. You can only react, by the time you're aware he's doing something you're already seeing the consequences and you don't have time to deal with them and try and figure him out and predict his next move. He keeps everyone off guard. He's playing the ultimate wildcard gambit and seeing it through with psychopathic confidence as you say.
Beautiful description and that is his “superpower”
Guys it’s a movie character😂😂 chill
I watched an analysis of the Joker in this movie on another channel that went through how he was far from a psychopath, he was super intelligent with psychopathic tendencies. Also to point out, Batman gets all his stuff done with no superpowers aswell.
@@thecolonel9120 yeah and the idea of a movie character is to portray someone living in another reality.
What's the point of watching any film if all you're gonna do is sit there and say "well it doesn't matter what happens, they're just movie characters"? That's boring.
Oh man, this is gonna be great! Best Batman movie ever, thanks to Heath Ledger.
To answer your question: Batman is a vigilante - that means he is a self-appointed individual who undertakes law enforcement in his community without the legal authority to do so, which makes him a criminal.
I'm trying to reconcile the assigning of 'criminal' to a vigilante who uses his incredible wealth to personally go after criminals, versus billionaires applying their wealth to other pet projects like medicine, politics, space travel, etc., rather than using a small portion of that wealth to elevate the lives of the employees who create that wealth in the first place and/or declining tax loopholes so tax revenue can be decided by more democratic (and less authoritarian) means.
How is a vigilante any different than a billionaire who doesn't pay his workers a living wage or who would rather pay expensive lawyers to find loopholes to avoid paying taxes? None of this is ethical or moral, but only vigilantism is illegal, and currently the GOP is working hard to reverse that reality.
Sorry to get political here. Just give that point of view a thought. I'm not against capitalism, but I AM against exploitation.
@@chris...9497 no he is a vigilante does not matter about wealth he is after revenge, standing up for victims whose life’s are made hell by people who are above the judiciary because of corruption like himself but in the eyes of the law he is a criminal in the same Vien as most super heroes
@@chris...9497 I hear you. Ethically and morally you're correct. Unfortunately the laws are not always ethical or moral.
@@jflaugher true and the people there to protect the public are not always the best people in the world and vigilante’s cause a very serious moral dilemma as they protect when the judiciary doesn’t but in reality they have gone too far themselves being corrupted by the power they wield
Actually, if the government is not maintaining your rights and order of society, then you exist in the state or nature. And what you call vigilantism is entirely legal in nature.
RIP to fellow Australian, Heath Ledger. What a performance as the joker. Died from suicide at only 28. Sadly, he died just before winning best actor award. His parents and sister collected his award and the audience gave a standing ovation
I like how the Joker always had a different story for his scars depending on the situation. Ledger did such an amazing job playing a character that the fans of the franchise know well, and taking it to a new level. So sad it would be his last.
Reminds me of the Batman animated episode "Mad Love", where Joker had a different sob story about his father every time.
He did have one movie after Dark Knight
Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
The Dark Knight was Heath Ledger's last completed movie he died during the production of another movie which was weird and just wasn't a good movie so that last shot of him hanging upside down laughing in the Dark Knight was it for him and it makes that scene so much more dark and haunting for me to watch.
It hurts me to think about Health Ledger's family mostly his little daughter and his real friends with how he suddenly passed and because he seemed like an amazing person and he seemed to love his job , so for all the fans we were all robbed of seeing his incredible talent moving forward and knowing that Christopher Nolan was going to have many more incredible shots with the Joker in The Dark Knight Rises makes it bittersweet to watch knowing it should have had the Joker and Bane.
@@ModeloLoveMeLongTime Yeah, agreed on all counts. I also don't like how actors like Jared Leto have used Heath Ledger's death basically as publicity to portray themselves as soooo dark and twisted for playing this character that supposedly killed him. Acting is a strenuous job for anybody. Playing the Joker didn't kill him, depression did.
Batman didn't save Harvey on purpose. Joker switched up the addresses just to mess with him.
This is why Mr. Video is so funny! He can see the Joker’s power, but he can’t believe that his call got through to the show on the first try. Impossible! 😅😅
"Batman has rules, he won't kill."
Batfleck: "Hold my Batarang"
The “atleast the saved some of it” comment when the hospital explosion was going off just made me think of Korg and his “the foundations are strong, on no, them foundations are gone” 😂😂😂
This movie was a gamechanger, it was so good. Like The Matrix you can see how movies were before and after each one. Because of this movie it showed how to make a super-hero movie while having the feel of a conventional movie. Everything about this movie is just phenomenal, the script, the acting the music (Hans Zimmer at his best).
And last but not least Heath Ledger. What a performance. I never expected this from him. On par or even surpasses Jack Nicholson as the Joker. And btw speaking of Heath Ledger pls do me a favor and check out A Knights Tale, there you can see him in an innocent yet great role, fantastic movie.
Very different movie but yeah, definitely worth a watch. As a neat bonus, the actor that plays Robert Baratheon (dead king) from Game of Thrones is also in it, I'm sure he'll like that.
@@Ichthyodactyl Yea. He was pretty good. And Paul Bettany just stole the whole show, he was fantastic.
I agree. You won't even recognize him. But its such a good performance.
@@MegaTurkeylips Yeah. You can see the transition clearly with these two roles. From doing prince charming basically to the Joker.
What I like is that Iron Man came out at almost the same time. Such different visions but both have v diff legacies
There's a fan theory that this version of the Joker is ex military and got his face mangled by an IED. He's comfortable with all kinds of weapons including RPGs, there's a kind of military precision to his seemingly chaotic plans, and his "truckload of soldiers" comment may be a kind of confession.
Plus, his comment to Batman in the interrogation room of "never start with the head, the victim gets all fuzzy, he can't feel the next--" is rather suspect. It may suggest he's familiar with conducting and or receiving interrogations. And to add onto this, perhaps he wasn't just a normal soldier, but rather black ops or CIA, And that may explain why he has no matches on fingerprints, dental, identity, or anything. Definitely a possibility, but I'm pleased that the Joker's original identity and background (and of how he came to be the Joker) is deliberately kept secret, makes him even more threatening and appealing that way.
that'd be cool af
I love the boat triggers sequences. Because you know, everyone watching that movie ends up debating which one to blow up. Yet the convict leader is the first one to toss the choice, and the boat captain can't bring himself to press it.
Sometimes refusing to go along with batshit ideas is the right thing to do.
Yeah it is. And who’s to say that detonating their triggers would blow up the other boat and not their own?
The portrayal of the Joker stole the show. How can you defeat a man who doesn't care about his life or death? Heath Ledger took that role and made it his own!
Batman has plenty of chances to kill Joker. The whole movie is full of idiotic plot holes.
@@docsavage8640 not killing joker isn't a plot hole, that's just who batman is

"How much more can Gotham take??? What's next???" Oh man. I can't wait to see your reaction on the next one. Heath Ledger was legendary in this role as The Joker. One of the best performances as the main nemesis in any movie ever.
The only negative thing I can say about this movie is the miscasting of Rachel 2.0.
Other than that, this movie is damn near perfect, IMO.
i blame Tom Cruise for having Katie Holmes locked in a closet so she didnt take the role this time. i think that wouldve made the audience care more when Rachel died.
@@markmac2206 Katie Holmes passed on this film because she wanted to do some tv show about the Kennedys, IIRC.

Heath Ledger was incredible as an actor!! His performances in Dark Knight and Brokeback Mountain were particularly stunning! Another great talent gone too soon..
On an unrelated note, if you'd like a really great show to react to with incredibly witty and hilarious dialogue, I'd recommend Succession! The cast is phenomenal!!
YEESSS!!!!! It's so good!!!
I remember seeing ‘Ten things I hate about you’ in the theater. Of course at that point no one here knew who he was yet, but he definitely got my-everyone’s-attention.
Once you start a trilogy I don’t mind how long it takes for the next ones. It’s important to jump around with different types of movies. And your true fans appreciate the hell out of ya doing all this work by yourself! You the man Leo!🤙
Heath Ledger was the GOAT. Loved him on " A Knight's Tale too ". Great man... And great reaction as always!
The funny thing is:
During the interrogation scene, Joker has a point.
Rewatch that scene and tell me you don't see it.
Two notes that I haven't seen brought up that you may like:
a) the infamous Hospital scene, when the Joker is walking away and the explosions stop; The pyrotechnics ACTUALLY were mistimed, the entire crew was freaking out, everything Heath does was improvised [the rattling and banging of the controller, signs of frustration] but the surprise of the explosion was very real.
2: The older gentleman at Bruce's party that the Joker first threatens is Patrick Leahy, a Vermont Senator who was so enamored with Batman he requested to be a victim in the movie [I think I heard that he also helped personally fund the film, but I'm 100% sure of that]
The first isn't true. Nolan talked about the scene in the DVD BTS extras - the purpose of the pause in the explosions was so that Ledger could safely walk out the building as it was exploding. Every part of that sequence was planned ahead of time.
RIP and long live the greatest Joker actor of all time.
Heath Ledger (April 4, 1979 - January 22, 2008), aged 28
You will always be remembered as a legend.
What a reaction Leo had me dying the entire time lol. Can’t wait for the next one.
Dammit i loved that reaction. Best part when he said "No you have plans. You are the most planned person i know of". Because too many people really buy into the BS Joker is telling, there are comicfans who really know every shit Joker has done and still believe this nonsense that he has no plans! Dammit, he has the most complex and for all eventuallities outbranching plans you'll ever see and you fall for his little "oh look at me i am just a mad dog" bs. Joker is a true mastermind, seemingly unpredictable but so extremely well planning all the same. And this movie and Ledgers acting caught that really well.
That's not a quarter. That's a silver dollar... specifically, a "Peace" dollar minted in 1922. Made of 90% silver, back when money was real. They stopped making our coins out of silver in 1965. The silver in that dollar is worth approx. $22 today.
I remember when my uncle took me to watch this movie. This movie blew my mind. I always loved the joker from the animated series, so I loved this movie so much
Dope review as always, chill! i've always equated The Joker (all variations) to the character Alex DeLarge from the movie 'A Clockwork Orange' (1971). the line in here "some men just wanna watch the world burn" describes them both.
As both a stand-alone and a sequel, this movie can never be beaten.
Only movie i went to see twice in theater.... it is a masterpiece
When the reactions as hilarious as yours, I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for you to get them out, brother. Good things come to those who wait. Keep on keepin' on.
Saw this in the theater. Right away knew this was gonna win all the awards for Heath Ledger. Also the newest Batman coming out looks 🔥🔥🔥
I love this movie because it’s represent how everything can be good go to bad.
"Where are the police?" Well you see the police are so corrupt outside of a few, they are more with the Joker than against at times.
Speaking of those becoming corrupt by the Joker. Many comment when Harvey kills Maroni that he could have died in the crash. The fact is the idea is he didn't care at all. That's also what makes him dangerous
I have never said "Holy s___!" more times while watching a movie before or since than when I saw this film in the theatre. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.
The officer imposter that Harvey was gunna shoot is the same actor who plays one of Antmans buddies and also was Polkadot Man in Suicide Squad
You can't help but love the joker regardless of the bad shit he does!
Heath Ledger was flawless as Joker, there is NO faulting him. Sad that we will never get to see how far he would of gone but thankfully we are left with this masterpiece!
This is definitely one of those movies where you shouldn't ask questions, just enjoy it for what it is. And what it is, is amazing.
I love all Batman and Joker. But, this is IMO the best version of these characters. So great watching you watch this.
One of the greatest crime movies ever made, absolute masterpiece. Can't wait to see your reaction to Rises. Keep it up man!💪
Heath is my favorite actor of all time. I remember watching the trailer before the movie came out, and had NO idea it was him playing the joker. I looked it up right after, and saw in an article, that it was him, and thought to myself "this must be an old article, and they got someone else to play joker, or it was a rumor" then I watched the trailer again, and realized the joker did resemble Heath, and immediately looked up the cast on IMDB, and saw it was official. I was just blown away. When the movie came out in theaters, a buddy of mine had a pirated version of the movie on DVD, and let me borrow it. I watched it a ton of times, and then I wanted to see it on the big screen, so I went to see it in the theater.
"I'll blow us all up. Here's my card. Hit me up." HAHAHAHA! You make every movie better, thank you!

“I’m not wearing hockey pads….” - still one of the best lines
I didn't see it in the comments, but here's a couple things you might not have known about Heath Ledger's joker: The first scene that Maggie Gylenhall and he had together was the scene when he crashes the party looking for Dent. She had never seen him in full makeup or heard his voice as the Joker and she was genuinely terrified of him. Also, the hospital scene with the explosives wasn't supposed to happen like that. The pyrotechnics malfunctioned and when the explosion didn't continue, Ledger played it off in character.
Noooooooo ffs. The explosion went exactly as it should. First some confetti explosions so Ledger has the time to clear the site, pause and then the demolition. It was a real demolition of a real building and everything went as planned.
For the love of god, no stress with the reactions! People will have to wait. You do you 💕✌️
Heath Ledger posthumously took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. He earned it! This was the highest grossing Batman movie to make $1 billion dollars at the box office.

Two-Face is a very well-known Villian in the Batman universe. Now they didn't do well with him in the movies but in the cartoon series oooo man, he is amazing. Harvey in the 90s animated series is amazing.

When this movie came out and everyone was blown away by Heath Ledger's performance, there was some suggestion people were being a little sentimental because he had died. I don't think Mr. Video had any idea about that story, and still he sees how brilliant the performance was.

Heath Ledger was absolutely brilliant in this role, he totally embraces the role and gets lost in it, that's why he won a.very well deserved Oscar. Had he not tragically died he could have ended up at the top of the A list for years.
Just want to say man I appreciate the work you put into these videos to entertain us. I know how hard it is to sit and be on a computer for hours and hours doing things like editing. My back hurts just thinking about it. Stay strong brother you deserve success.
The Joker may have been caught at the end of the movie but make no mistake, he DID win. His point was already proven. He took Harvey Dent, a beacon of light for the people and turned him into a vicious murderer while turning the entire city of Gotham on Batman. All the Joker did was reveal a cruel truth, that within every person, there lies a monster that is barely kept in check by the social contract that keeps us all fat and complacent, that once the chips are down we will eat each other.
Don't forget, he also revealed the good in people and gotham with the cruise ships on accident.
I was waiting for this day for a long time.
As always, your videos are well worth the wait!
I love the running gag of Batman just disappearing whenever he doesn't feel like talking anymore XD
Shit's hilarious :D
We need to Give thanks to movie “The Crow” and Brandon Lee for giving the directors and Heath the inspiration for the “Dark knight Joker” we have today 💯🙏🏾👏🏽🔥
Aside from the phenomenal acting and amazing story line, the effects are some of the best ever done in any big budget film. Christopher Nolan is a special effects GOD always going for practical effects over CG. The semi truck flipping over? Real, Batman's Tumbler- Fully custom built and could actually drive, the hospital explosion- Real explosives.
Can't wait for you to watch "The Dark Knight Rises"!!!
Been watching your channel for a long time and loving it. I regularly look you up when I’m in the mood for reactions.
I hope the day comes when this man can make enough money doing this and only this! Mr. Video deserves it 💯
BEST Batman movie ever made!!!
YOOOO I can't wait to watch this with you. I'm a HUGE Batman fan! Say the first one(1989) in theaters with my dad and was hooked ever since. The first 2 directed by Tim Burton are my Top 2. The other 2 made in the 90s were OK, but I love the reboot Christopher Nolan Trilogy! This is the best film of the 3!
My Top 5 Batman movies are
5. Batman Begins
4. Batman Returns
3. Joker
2. The Dark Night
1. Batman(1989)
Does joker even count seeing as though Bruce is barely in it?
Joker ain't a batman movie bruh.
Bale's best Batman film + Heath's Joker best ever!!🔥🔥 Love your Reactions Man, keep it up 👍
I have been going through a really hard time in my life right now, BUT every time i get home wiped out and I see you have a new video up I smile cause I know my night will end with me smiling an laughing to one of your vids. Keep up the good work an God Bless you brother.
Great reaction!! At the fundraiser when you were so drawn into the Joker you forgot about Batman is a testament to Heath ledger’s performance.
To be perfectly honest, I was and still am not a fan of the superhero genre. As a kid, I generally didn't pay any attention to those franchises. After seeing Heath Ledger's astounding performance in Brokeback Mountain, and his unfortunate passing, I felt obligated to see The Dark Knight in theaters. In preparation for that year's Academy Awards, I watched the other four Supporting Acting nominees to be a fair judge. And yes, sympathy aside, I do feel Heath gave the best in quality of the five nominated and should have been given the award.
I was a big fan of his work prior and feel it's an absolute shame how his life was cut short. Fun trivia: The Dark Knight wasn't his final acting role. He started a movie called The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, but passed on before finishing. Jude Law, Colin Farrell and Johnny Depp played his character for the remaining scenes. Supposedly all three worked for no payment, putting their salaries into a trust fund for Matilda. It does sound weird how three different men could fill the role, but seeing how Parnassus was a fantasy-style movie, it works pretty well.
Excellent reaction, one of the best I’ve seen, keep up the great work!
'He doin it wit style!' 🤣 I reckon that's why Joker is my favorite man 🤣☮️
Still the greatest DC film. I know there are heavy contenders, but bloody hell what an amazing movie.
FYI the scene that got you crazy caught up between Joker and Rachael was almost entirely improvised.
Love you Leo. Keep em coming!!
The dude playing the Joker henchman whom Harvey threatens has really made a name for himself in the past few years. David Dastmalchian was recently in Dune, the Ant-Man films, Blade Runner 2049, and the more recent version of The Suicide Squad (he played Polkadot Man).
If you haven't seen it yet, he stars in a new horror movie called Late Night with the Devil. It is effin' terrific!
Ngl man I've been watching you for a long time now, i usually sesh when i watch ur movie reactions and and ur vids are always fun to watch, its just a feel good hanging out with a friend kinda vibe
React to "Big Trouble Little China" or "Spinal Tap"! Great reaction dude. This movie is damn near perfect, a little long.. If they had cut out a bit more of Christian Bale growling at people and made it a solid two hours it would be a ten out of ten for me.
