sadly sharks are one of those creatures that don't have that much development in the region in the brain regarding emotions. The shark may associate a person as not a threat or someone who gives food but that's sadly the limit(kind of like snakes).

Man, I get really tired of the massive anthropomorphizing. We can deduce she's at least comfortable and willing to initiate contact, but we don't know a sharks emotional state on a personal level. Sharks don't have the physiology to "smile" in the same way humans or primates can (for varying reasons).
