Love Bon Jovi. I'm from New Jersey and they are my favorite glam metal band of the 80's. "Livin' On A Prayer" came from their blockbuster album Slippery When Wet. Terrific song and album.

The visuals are great here also. There's a fan holding up the "Slippery When Wet" album (record) in the audience. The audience is VERY close (virtually unheard of today given safety issues). It was a different time. You also see that many of the mics are still corded because uncorded mics were VERY expensive at that time (because they had to be reliable). Mics that weren't corded had to have a range suitable for voice ranges. My mother was a pro singer and it was hard to find any mics that worked with her voice (sharp soprano) that weren't corded. She had to stay on stage and use the corded mic and be careful not to trip on the cord if she moved. She retired in the late 80s and by then technology was accelerating for cordless mics.
Wired microphones are still common though. I've been on stage as a musician and do sound engineering and noticed that many still use them. Some prefer the durability and simplicity while on the road. No need to think about batteries (affects range), blocking antennas, interference, ... Also, the frequency spectrum for wireless systems has become much smaller the last decade which led to older systems not working anymore.

As far as Vampire movies go, Fright Night which came out in I think 1985 is a good one but my all time favorite is The Night Stalker which came out in 1972, sorry Mom it is somewhat scary especially for a 10 year old but very good,It had huge ratings.Great job ladies !

I really liked early Bon Jovi when they released "Runaway"..but then when this album that had "Livin' on a Prayer" came out I just couldn't listen to them anymore. I hope you both get a chance to react to the Swedish group "Ghost". They are such a contradiction of sound and appearance...a unique fusion..like Babymetal...a delightful oxymoron.
