Just got my D1 Pro Setup yesterday. Tried doing a project in XT1 and nothing engraved? Looks like it should have but I don't know WTH I'm doing yet. I got a ticket in with tech support.
"frame the design" - and how is that supposed to work? remember this is supposed to be a first project! Also, what software is that? Youve cut off the title bar of the window...
Click the button that says frame. It’s xTool creative space.

That was helpful. I am new just got my cutter up.and running and was wondering how to engrave/fill/cut..on the same piece..I'm still trying to figure that out. This piece looks great, I am working with the same machine 20w. Are you designing in XCS..it looked like many more options then I get. So I was a bit lost and Will most likely be rewatching till I get it. 😂 thanks so much for sharing😊

Hello I'm at the phase of experimenting materials but I have questions for you before I begin:
1.Do I need both an air assist and a fume extractor? Do they do the same thing?
2.Do you suggest a metal plate or a honeycomb Laser Bed to go on top of silicon mat but under material?
3. Should the laser slide all the way to the mat or be adjusted where when it slides in, the back metal piece of laser underneath plug is even with the bracket its attaching to? Ultimately resulting in laser being approximately a quarter inch from the mat?
how long did that take to make? like 3d printers people forget to say on *Average :P thks
