He is currently painting masterpieces of artwork; working on his autobiography, Aligula; designing a club kid-inspired clothing line called Skroddleface; directing a NYC art collective called Countdown and recording a new dance single. Michael, I understand that you are a product of your environment, but when I think about the actual physical process of literally sawing into human flesh then attributing it to drugs I become confused. I was a Deep Ellum kid at the time, with plenty of drug experimentation, and never could I comprehend this version of oh well he paid his debt. I want to like you. I am a theatre person that instinctively adores you, but the raw experience needs explanation. I love individual expression but that does not gel with the intestinal fortitude of butchery.
Speak slower, stop being so flippant, the club kids are wikipedia fodder. Your key to success is anti drug speeches and the hope of a cameo on drag race. I want to love you but the flippant attitude is humiliating. Your key to success is education, not adulation. Rise or be swept away with the dixie cups. Ernie, you know this is accurate, be strong and affect change. I am just a southern TX dem lover of the weird that calls it like it is. Ernie, stand up honey...you have it in you. Michael, I forgive you but you need to do some community outreach and have a reality check. ❤

in most cases, the airport police check my computer and phone.... and if I haven't been watching Pe'eew, its a problem to them. I got stopped at customs for not watching Pe'eeew..... They ask me why no glamour...
and I think, after some thoughtful reflection, that it's important to remember that it's not your fans posting nasty shit.
I didn't read the comments, but have seen some nasty ones from people who come on here just because of Michael’s history. I will never know why people troll you tube channels and post violent, abusive messages. But, I wish you two the best and applaud your honesty and thoroughly enjoy your channel. Keep doing what you do and take care of yourselves first! I don't know how to teach understanding, but it seems like this whole world needs to judge less and focus on their own issues!

That story only doesn't make sense to to people that don't know the vice life. I mean Michael and Ernie were living in this world for a lot of time and thats what they know. And I think Michael is back to club promoting. Its what hes good at so he should do it. And it comes with a bunch of baggage. For better or worse. Michael said he saw someone going down a path that wasn't right and from his past he knew if that wasn't instantly corrected then it may never be. Maybe not the best decision for him but hes looking after a friend and thats what he felt he had to do. Made sense to me.
I like the Show. I really like the 80s and 90s NYC History Lessons. Plus I like Ernies hair right now. I wish I could pull that off.
I agree, anyone who has spent any time around the "vice life" can see that Alig's interaction with his, friend, the friends supplier... is work a day co-dependency. It is hard to think straight in a co-dependent relationship

I think a lot of the negative comments are the result of frustration (as you said) with seeing someone not being as great as they could be. Assume it comes from a place of love because anything else is a waste of time.
There is way too much negativity in this world today with a lot of finger pointing. People have a hard time looking past mistakes and moving on. Michael said it best at 3:43 "I'm human". Those who write negative comments all the time seem to forget they are only human too and no better than the rest of us.

It feels like Ernie was the type of friend to Michael that wouldn’t be a “yes man” and accept his bullshit at face value, but he also isn’t judgements, or mean spirited or hurtful. He listen, he really listens to people and considers what they have to say. He seems like a really good friend to have around. Being such good friends with Michael, Ernie could’ve milked them hell outta that and been in the forefront of everything. But he never did. Seems humble and down to earth.

I guess what I'm confused about is I thought this was a show for fans and friends. So why would anyone want to watch if they feel anything less that supportive? I always hated when people say mean things to other people but follow it up with "we are friends so I HAD to say it because a real friend tells you the truth". A real friend doesn't make you feel bad about he choices you make. They are just there for you IF you need them no matter what. That's a friend. So the boys deserve support from the people in their lives. That's a real friend.

I was disappointed that you had been caught up in the drugs world again. Glad that you have extracted yourself. I love watching the Peew for both of you - and am so glad Michael has Ernie in his life. Love Ernie to bits, love Michael to bits and am looking forward to the book. It seems so perverse that so many people have made money off of Michael, so hope Michael can fix that and create a bit of a pension pot for himself.

It is very important to understand that this entire 90's NYC club scene (in the main) was on Neptune. THe earlier decades 80's and 70's also played with all that vibe and more. The reality that we perceive is only a layer of the many levels of existence people often live in. Legally the entire Club kid scene was questionable. Obviously. Alig and his supporters formulated their vision about narcotics a loooonnng time ago. Despite what has gone down ( murder, clubs shutting down, suicides, overdoses, falling outs, stardom) it is clear that Alig does struggle with getting on another channel that is not well erm... the same old...Neptunian fantasy. Playing "you don't know us" and all that is not how the world works EITHER. We don't have to really "know anything" to get the overwhelming vibration of Neptune. Alig is correct there IS a fine line between image and reality and perception of the show and the history and and and and... The concept this is a "satire" and we are not being ourselves".... etc... explains so much that suspected facts are more than just looming or there for performance art... and they just well haze it so we think it's all well.. a show. I was there in mid/late1990's. Regrettably it was all too real and whilst it was highly theatrical it was very edgy and chem fuelled to a creepy level. #aligerniehaze

There are addicts there are co-dependents. You assume he is handling drugs because they are his. I have known many people involved in the 12 step program "Sex and Love addicts". It is equally possible he was handling drugs due to a co-dependent romantic interest with a dealer/user

This guy doesn't even realize he's burying himself. He's backtracked on almost everything he said when he first got out. And it's all on video. First he said Angel being a poser & wannabe was a lie and he was a true friend & loved ,...then a year or so later he says the opposite.....on video. He's back either on drugs or "with" drugs. He should be doing positive things w his life to help make up for the life he took. All I see is a sociopathic brat.
Michael was friends with Angel... but not best friends. Angle had somefriends who loved him, but others saw him as a criminal drug dealer, maybe a little socially awkward. I think Michael was just reassuring that Angle was not the merely the butt of mean jokes
