Yah, I'm in Toronto, Eastern Standard Time (-5 BST). The normal deadline is 6:30am Saturday (which is a little brutal, but better than some). I'm up checking out FPL Raptor's live stream around 5:30am. With any luck, he gets a 15-minute warning on the early team sheets. The late-breaking leaks frequently choke/crash the FPL. A kick-off deadline would be better.
Fully agree with moving the deadline to just before the first kick off. It isn't fair on others who have a life outside of FPL

It was 12:30 in mexico so we were all at work, I got bitten by Stones and Gabriel, finished with 77pts, could have been better 😢
I missed the Gabriel leak as I was helping my son sort out his double Man City defence after that leak!
Nobody talks about Elanga, hes my differential player this week. Im playing him above either mbuemo/Madison, i feel United will be better defensively against spurs & fulham will be stronger defence at home(they were strong in gw1).
On my watch list but he only played 10 minutes last game.
@@CrazydaveInc I'm just saying, I am getting him before the bandwagon, early points will give you good base rank. he got an excellent assist (have a watch his counter run) & created a chance in that time. Explosive player. He's premier league proven as he's done well during his best days in United + really played well in recent international game. He is definitely starting as Johnson is injured. + the rivalry is big against Sheffield United.
Need some help: i am strongly thinking about taking a Minus 4 for bringing in maddison and reece james for Odegaard and Kabore.
Reason being: any pricerise would price me out of this move.
Any thoughts??

Why not make the deadline three hours before kick off?
Typically we are talking just leaks from the early kick off. You don't get leaks on the other nine fixtures so why are you insisting that you should see the team sheets on the early kick off?
Level it up and ensure no leaks on any of the fixtures.

I think anyone who has Salah planned or the Captaincy GW2. I know I did. It’s a chance to step up on those without him hoping he outperforms Haaland. We’ll see if it plays out.
And agree with everything Tom said about the possible mega haul.

Just speculation but with the Gabriel leak it's almost so people will have to watch LTFPL instead of others for those possible leaks.
The thing is, you can't blame the content creator but the source. Many people are blaming the CC, which is wrong. If this continues, I wouldn't blame the CC for not mentioning it at all because it's not worth the hassle they receive.
I’m betting on Salah. Treble Captaining him GW2. No Haaland in my team (81 pts GW1). In Salah we trust. I’m also betting on N.Jackson Saka Son Diaby & Watkins. I’m hoping for 80-90 points which will get me to 160-170

City going to Greece midweek - feel you’ve overlooked Watkins for captaincy. Always seems to score at home and the Villa fixture clearly much easier than a confident Newcastle
With the leaks happening close to deadline. If you move the deadline, what stops leaks from happening just before that one?
Because then they are not leaks for that first match (which is what the majority of accurate team leaks are about), as the team sheet is out. (Joe)
@FFScout_ It should let you pick a backup for each player in case of injuries (not a sub) after the deadline up to kick off that gets changed automatically by FPL. It has to be the same team and the same or as close to less than the first pick. I get that late leaks aren't fair for all and that it takes the skill aspect away though.
They should just allow changes up to first kick off

Your assumption is that's Andy's contact had the information 5 minutes to go. You can't assume that.
Knowing Andy he would have passed on the information when he got it and was sure it had some reliability. He's a good guy like that. He wouldn't have deliberately held it back, that's not his style. (Joe)

I managed to swap Gabriel to saliba with literally 2mins too go and still wasn't confident it went thru but it did👍👍👍
I think it's obvious that Salah is better for this week but will he be better over the next month? I think not.

@lukemccollough6872 that's fair but Bournemouth at home VS Newcastle at home is a difference maker. That said, I'll be having Haaland as I went without Salah anyway! 😆
