    Very nice video. My wife and I are trekking Humphrey's Peak on October 2. We did Wheeler Peak, New Mexico later in October last year and almost FROZE. Very windy and cold with snow at the top. When did you go? Do you have any idea what it's like in early October? We took down jackets to Wheeler and definitely needed them. Thanks.

      It should be the perfect time when the leaves are changing. Just bring some layers to stay warm when you get to the top. As long as it is sunny with no weather rolling you will be fine.
