My washer and dryer are so high-tech that I have my grandchildren wash my cloths😂😂😂😂😂
My washer is controlled by an app on my mobile.
That’s so funny. I know technically is so tough sometimes
Don't tell Russ about the 2 and half inch exhaust...lol
🤣🤣🤣
Lmbo
You were correct Brett it can't be used on extension as power is compensated for the extension try with you mobile charging direct connect to extension connect you will be shocked at diffrent current rate
Brett, (retired electrician here) The extension cord wouldn't reduce the amperage enough to even nudge a meter. Your problem was likely damp air in creating more work for the dryer.
That's kind of where my head is. Damp cooler air not helping.
Call the customer service number in the paperwork or look it up online. Be careful when not using the hoses for the dryer and venting it outside. By using it the way you did, you are adding a lot of moisture inside the camper.
Put a nylon around the dryer vent to collect the lint also.
I LOVE YOUR WASHER/DRYER !!! I live in a big house, but I’d use it just for myself!!
I wouldn’t have wasted my time with this! I would have gone to a laundromat and had my laundry done all at once
Omg … someone like me ! It used to take me 3 days to do all the camping laundry when we get home. Now, I bag up all the laundry and have my hubby drop me off at the laundromat. Poof, 2 1/2 hours … EVERYTHING is washed and dried. Now if I needed to do just small loads and I was on the road, yeah, I might use this set up.
Some laundromats charge quite a bit. 4 loads could cost you $20-$30.
@@MadamMayorsAdventures I had a washer dryer unit in my RV. I’d be doing laundry in it for 2 days as you couldn’t load it up and the time it took to dry was cheaper at the laundromat!
Find one in Alaska is like finding gold
I never thought I’d like watching somebody do their laundry but I think you two are very interesting and very helpful
Thank you. Ppl seem to like dirty laundry...🤪
😅@@MadamMayorsAdventures
I can’t believe you and I have the same designer bag!!! Be careful don’t lose it!
What a really cool 😎 washer and dryer!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
I would use the dryer to "fluff up" dry clothes to make them softer, and more wrinkle-free. That's what I do at home, anyway, with a softener sheet & a regular dryer. I always hang my clothes to dry because I'm 5'8" and don't want my clothes to shrink...also, they seem to stay in better condition! ☺
AT LEAST IS DIRTY LAUNDRY NOT DIRTY LAUNDRY SECERTS😊😊😊😊 STILL LOVE THOSE TOO
We don't use dryer sheets anymore. They can plug up the breathability of the fabric. We use the plastic spiky balls. It helps.
I use the spikey balls too. Saves money and works well.
Looks like you are using outter creek water😂😂😂
AHOYA HIYA.
I wouldn't take it apart, I'd return it if it's not working right. If you took it apart, they could refuse to give you your money back saying it's your fault.
Mix it up a bit i love all your videos "Surprise Us"
Love you Madam Mayor and Brett! safe travels
Glad you like them!
Thank you for sharing this with us.❤❤❤
Is there a lint filter?
You can use panty hose to put on the vent of the dryer. Just a thought.
I had a set like this in the 90s for our cabin, to save water, I always used the rinse water for the next load of clothes to save water. Just make sure wherever you use the dryer it is fairly level, will cause you belt issues if it isn't, speaking from experience.
Hi Madame Mayor and Brett. I had one of those for years. They work very well. I❤❤ your video's they are fun and often informative .
So cute! Great to warm up camper with the dryer! Concern is with moisture inside……..would like follow up on that part if possible! Videos posted in timeline would be great, otherwise feels like you’re jumping all over. Unless you note as “Special” video from Key West” for example. Glad you’re enjoying yourselves!
Good advice. We didn't notice any substantial moisture tho it is something to keep an eye on. We'll come up with a plan for venting.
My daughter lives in Anchorage Alaska she loves it
The dirty Truth... Brent fell in the MUD...and thats the dirty truth....lol
Had similar dryer for off grid camp here in Maine...the first issue was humidity on the hot steamy july days...the next issue was a cracked seal around door, which we replaced...used a table top fan to blow on dryer when operating on porch...cool air was the solution when using...
Dry sheets can be flammable. Use 2 spikey dryer balls (from grocery store) to soften and fluff clothes. Reusable. Research using vinegar in clothes washing. It works.😊
That was fun 😂😂😂
yes more videos they are great
Everything you put out is excellent 👌 🤗😘
Thank you
My daughter has this same washer and dryer set up.
Lol! Those are my size 🤣😂🤣 Very cool! 😊💜
Share your whole vacation love all I seen
I'm interested. If you do any fishing while you are up there people love those kinda videos.
I bet you were only supposed to drive one piece at a time which would be bad❤
I was surprised to see you using a large bottle of liquid detergent. To save space, try the sheets. Have been using and they do good. Addie from Texas❤😊
Still using up stuff from the house.
I love my washer like that..and I use 2 spins and the things inside get even more almost dry..I do like more water..but I don't travel and my septic goes to city sewer..so don't have to worry about filling up the tanks..I've had mine a yr or so and found that the water started going into the side of spinner.. and out side my shower it didn't drain so well..
you may want to consider hanging your clothes up first for about a half way dry, then use the dryer to finish them off. we do that in the summer here in PA to save energy.
Great idea!
Don’t start taking it apart, you will void your warranty
I would love it if y'all would try to find squatch in Alaska for Mayor Travis," Tune Town Baby" ! 😂
We have exactly the same dryer but in silver. It's a nifty little dryer but it works best with smaller amounts. EDIT- There is a cool down process at the end of the cycle. Keep an eye on it, stop the dryer before it gets to that point or your clothes go cold again. I find you have to take clothes out and shake them before putting them back in to get to all creases or get those damp spots. Hope that helps. ❤👍
Hi guys, never watched someone doing laundry, that was great Love you guys❤️
My daughter bought one for her baby clothes and it works great.
Good to know!
The little washers are great but the dryers takes v forever. I have the one size up it did the same
It’s your channel, you do you and hopefully no complaints. It’s just been fun watching all of your adventures.
Love the videos. ❤
Please show us all videos. Thank you
Would love to see a mix up of videos. I would definitely watch them.
I have a washer like that
Enjoy your new dryer! 😁
I would love to see different videos!❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing
Phew! That's a relief. Glad to see it working. ☺️
When you had the machine out onto the table...didn't Mr. Mayor push the button for low heat? If so it didn't look like he reset it. Check your video and see.
Second ,try unwadding the clothing so they aren't all balled up, that way the air flows better.
But I like it, beets washing clothes in a ice chest. Lol that's how I used to do it when we'd go camping.😂
Much love guys loving the channel.❤
Maybe drying in smaller loads would help?
Good Afternoon Madam Mayor and Brett. Oh goodie one of my favorite chores laundry!! Other than that it’s grocery shopping 😂😂😂
🤪
That's nice for small apartments as well...thanks for sharing 😀
Put the exhaust hose on it, youre running it wide open so theres no type of restrictions to help build the heat.
Interesting thought. Will try it.
@MadamMayorsAdventures you always want some kind of back pressure to provide a reflector/insulation effect. Wouldnt hurt to put some nylons or a screen on the end of the exhaust hose too.
Maybe using the vent might make it work better? Not sure since I live in an apartment.
Nice job you guys. I hope you really having a good time. I mean that with all of my heart.
I had a twin tub loved it
I have literally put two twin sheets in it and it's not dry the first two or three times
You'll have the 2inch pipe in Alaska? lol. Hopefully it will do the job, stay safe out there and thanks again for sharing with us all the beautiful sights and sounds of Alaska etc.we appreciate you both and enjoy your videos, keeping you'll in our thoughts and prayers have a blessed rest of your journey, safe travels to and from and may God continue to pour out His many blessings on you both, your family and friends. 😊❤😊
Happy you showed us how you do laundry while camping.I've seen washers like that. I have never seen a dryer that small . Prayers 🙏 and Love 🤟 From Oklahoma
You may have to dry fewer things also.
Maybe try the clothes that you have on that’s a big load
Not sure if mat
Load was to heavy😊
Love your videos more videos please 🎉
Love that washer ❤
I had that one.
Hello madam mayor and Brett ❤❤
I AM GLAD IT WORKED OUT. IT WILL BE GOOD FOR EMERGENCY ALSO.
Back 60 years ago I had a regular washer called an EASY SPIN DRY. It worked on the same principle as your washer only bigger.
110 volt does take longer to dry than a 220 volt. I sell appliances.
Watching from New Zealand love your Adventures ❤
Best read instructions
Afternoon Brett and Therese. That washer and dryer are cute. I may check into getting my daughter a set.
It’s a small dryer so maybe load size being smaller might help?
I had a washer like that they dont last very long before it breaks the spin side breaks
That's bigger than Jeremy's pipe! Sorry I couldn't help myself! Love 😊you guys! Love following your adventure!
Glad to have you onboard.
Mix it up would be agood move😊
I said mine is normal when I called about it
When you brought it inside, I noticed it wasn’t vented. Hopefully the humidity didn’t increase inside.
Maybe because you don't have the vent hooked up it is drawing more cold air.
If ur in ohio on 71 (about half way between Cleveland & Columbus) you may find Mansfield reformatory interesting .....
I am pretty sure shawshank redemption was filmed there
Jeremy might be able to give you more info it not very far from wooster
Just a thought
Not to be mean check the manual, for all the buttons and knobs how they work love yall
And I think the direct plug in made a difference same as a heater does only works half power on an extension cord ❤
Have you thought about getting a promotional consideration from a portable generator company. Light weight small , rechargeable by sun, or power.
The coach has solar and a built in cummins generator
The less the load the quicker it will dry. The cold air will wick the heat of the unit and cause the element to work harder. Learned from my little stack set in the apartment.
Show them.all....
check the dial. it goes from red to blue. I would assume the red gets hot and the cool is blue. Maybe try running on the red area.
My dryer worked very well, maybe you should read the directions.
That’s awesome, my dryer broke down maybe I’ll look into something like that. I’m hanging cloths on the line right now. It’s just me and walking up and down the basement stairs at 71 , I could put that in my kitchen! Where do I get one ? Happy trails, be safe ! ❤️🙏🏻
Amazon, where else. Lol
Mix it up. 😂❤
I'm from W. VA. I would love to see your video's from there.
Will do!!
i used to have a apartment size dryer and i used a pair of panty hose or knee highs over the vent to catch the lint
Ill watch whatever😂
Hello guys ❤😊😊
Remember if it's only 5 pounds, that is what it can handle. Anything heavier it will take longer.
Do where you are on set days and others stuff on other days
My dryer growing up was what they called an apartment sized dryer which was about 4 times the size of that but still compact. What my mom did for the vent which stuck out a little more than that but you could still do was put a pantyhose leg on it secured with one of those rings you tighten with a screw!! Sounds funny but worked and was pretty common for people without places for washers and dryers in apartments! It let air flow just fine and caught lint. It was nice in the cool/cold months as it helped heat the house when in use. When a lot of lint had been collected we threw it out and put a new one on. Pending the set up of places we lived in warmer months she could often just vent out a window when in use with a normal dryer vent tube. You could actually buy a window attachment for that reason you just slid in and shut the window on top of when in use that was pretty light weight. The good old 70's and early 80's! Good to see this and the style of washer we used are still being put to good use! PERFECT! We would make visits to the laundry mat on occasion for the larger stuff like blankets, coats or just to play catch up when life got busy. I told you my hack once when we would wash and spin without draining and rinsing. Throw in a basket and add more water and wash another load and spin. Then drain and you could do 2 rinse cycles the same way in less time and by spinning between it gets out a lot of the dirty soapy water for a better rinse. You do you though! Just trying to help with time! Watch out for that spinner with socks though. Often our socks came out twice the length they went in. Was weird!
