To buy something around the size of your house and land anywhere in a 2 hour drive from Brisbane Queensland Australia would cost around $1.5 million or more. I live in a rental house with my Mother,Daughter ex son inlaw and Granddaughter and her biological father. Your bathroom and kitchen are both 100% better than what we are using.

Congratulations to the both of you. There a country singer Ronnie McDowell who lives in Hendersonville, Tennessee. His hometown is Portland, Tennessee. Ronnie sings the song The King is Gone. In 1977 after Elvis passed. Now you can go see Graceland.
Oh one more thing you all need to go to Red Boiling Springs Tennessee. The is an old hotel. The Donoho Hotel. The entertainment center is the Ronnie McDowell Entertainment Center.

Our winters are getting worse (well here in middle Tennessee). It's staying below freezing longer and we are getting more snow year after year. Which is why we are headed back to my husband's hometown on Manasota Key.
I live in Greeneville Tennessee, just above Knoxville
My home is 950 square feet and I love it. I don't miss a big house. My last house was a 3 bedroom with formal living room and dining room plus a kitchen open floor plan with a den with a fireplace. I loved that house but it was too big. This 950 square feet is perfect for us being in our med 60's. I can really relax here.

When I lived in West TN, the winters was short. I had a beautiful, peach, verigated with white, rose bush. Bloomed still at Christmas. Only a few ice storms. School would close with the lightest of snow ( light compared to here in Colorado). It's still my memories of Heaven on Earth. Miss being there, more than anyone knows.

Buckees is about 45 min from where I live. I went there wasn't impressed all the items were way to high. But it's in Crossville and they have a nice flea market and a great Amish community not to far from there either.
The shopping will be awesome. Bargains to be had at storage units , shift stores& yard sales!!!
