I'm a huge movie buff but there are parts of this industry that I hate. Who the hell are you to boo actors who have more talent that you could ever have ? They are free human beings with an inependant will, they leave whenerver they wanna leave. And how many picture do you actually have to take before covering every angle of their face ? I know they both have been doing that since their teenagehood, but I honestly don't know how they cope with it.
Are these people in the audience supposed to be journalists? Even I can ask better questions. They need to be concise, coherent with some decency in English. I barely understood one and they were weird and too broad. You could see that all actors and producers were perplexed throughout.
If this is the quality of questions one gets from 'journalists', no wonder they get so tired of interviews! It's like they have to make up interesting answers or find another authentic way to answer non-questions/the same thing over and over!

He hates interviews and notice this is towards the end of session they been there AND taking pictures for like an hour. The questions are kind of stupid anyway. He and Natalie are just actors (notice Kate Blanchett isn't even there!) and no one has time for the strange questions anymore ROFLLL
They're all tired of doing these stuff for hours and mostly of the interviewers were asking stupid questions. Bale just wanted to know the point of the view of the guy.
The question is shady. The answer can be shady, but Bale was able to make a witty one. "Your job is to think about films, ours is to make it." That's the answer.
