It's an open-world Sci-Fi game, with one of the main draws being that you can exchange in-game money for real money as you make it off of things you kill, then sell, or off revenue from things bought and then used by other players. I tried to get into it a few years ago, only made about $50 though before I got bored.

Have seen plenty of articles about things in WoW going for more than 1/4 of the things in this list. It was removed from the game, but they last the existing ones that people already had in the game for the people that already had them. Right up until the game shut down, those robes eye being traded and sold for thousands of dollars converted to in game currency.

All Entropia money is real money that is why and they do not care if you sell anything in game for real money unlike other games. It is very hard to make money in the game if you just play the game like a regular MMO.
