Another method of supporting stone roofs is to use the stone archways near the ceiling. Looks great and has led me to a lot of creative ideas

Great videos man subbed! On my build I'm having trouble with the watch towers. I'm using the small wooden beams and I can't get the smaller wall blocks to snap on right.
I know there is 2 snap points that they will want to grab too.it helps narrow it down if you put a block underneath where you want your angled piece to go.
2nd suggestion would be to turn it to the previous angle line it up with the previous block and the while it's there turn it into position sometimes it will put where it needs to be... hope this helps :)
I wish there was some better option for crenellations than the ugly 1 stone blocks. They only look good if you get like, really far away lol
You should demonstrate how to do these kinds of builds without flying around.

Need help on the center cylindrical tower in between the 4 mini towers. Cant seem to get the measurements correctly. Like what do you mean "two blocks then turn 1"
Which measurements? Size or distancing from the other towers

@@UnknownFactions to better state my confusion: i dont know where to start the measurements for "2 blocks then turn 1" i always end up not connecting the ends of the cylinder
@@kekw16 so if the snapping is giving you trouble, to help them find the snap point you want place wood or stone floor underneath where you want to start your cylinder. (This will help force snap points) then place 2 blocks side by side on top of the flooring and rotate it once. Be sure to note there is 2 snap points it will try to grab. One will show a corner of the block clipping through, the other will look flat (that's the one you want)
Just be sure to get them in the right snap point each time and it will line up at the end

I want to see how you go and grab all materials for building. Its fucking easy do it with mods, do same thing without those..
Seeing how resources are endless in this game so it won't be so hard hahaha you can have infinite stone and wood farms from greydwarves nests lol and you get iron by the boat loads from gameplay.
Butttt I've put well over 1000 hours into this game, I dont waste my time and materials on demonstrations for CZcams without using the Devcommands haha

possibly you might have to slack up on the supports in the center tho

Yeah there is! you have to enable it through steam. Then you can hit f5 and enter devcommands and turn building mode on
Helpful tips and tricks but could you please stop calling it concrete ;) why would you need a stonecutter to make concrete. Either way, about to build my first stone castle and love the idea of the foundation you created for the central tower, will be helpful with some parts of the build!
