I've just recently purched this DIY rinseless for my "In-between" washes, or when I just can't be bothered to do a full soap/pressure wash clean. Thanks for the tip on the inside windows. I have a 2019 Ford Mustang GT that is the worst car I’ve had for windows getting filmy. DIY Rinseless is a nice product. Nice informative video as always.
I have a small Rag Conpany Gauntlet towel I use for wheels only whether Rinseless or hose washing. Mothers makes a product called Back to Black tire cleaner that is waterless that does a bang up job when you are washing like this.
Nice video and explanation. What’s your opinion on using a second bucket for wheels? My car and a majority of the cars I have done are more along the lines of European sport sedans and suvs which means a ton of brake dust. I do all of my car first, and then dump some of the solution into a smaller bucket with a wheel microfiber and ultra utility brush. Just do this to make sure my bucket isn’t riddled with brake dust shards.
I like it! I would probably use a second bucket Also if I was doing only rinseless washing… To be honest, many times, I wash the wheels and tires conventionally with a foamer and pressure sprayer and then rinseless wash the rest of the vehicle if it's not very dirty.
The Legacy Sponge is designed to do what you're demonstrating, but I've never seen a wash mitt designed to do it too. Who makes a wash mitt designed to do the same thing as the Sponge from DIY?
The sponge is great and releases the debris like nothing else! But! Its not cheap and I wanted to show my customers alternatives. Autofiber even sells "rinseless wash mitts" on carsupplieswarehouse.com. But they are not 2 colored which is key to staying organized and in process when rinseless washing.
i feel ya unfortunately body panels and below freezing don't get along... spray off at self serve car wash to get main salt off prob short term solution.

DIY rinseless for interior cleaning is amazing. I wipe the cloth seats and even the carpets down with it.

Can you add a sealant after the rinse less wash? If its not coated?
