Fun Fact- "Alveo" is the name of an internal structure in the lungs that is responsible for the exchange of CO2 and Oxygen. In plural they're more often called the Alveoli. Meaning that the Alveo Vera plant is a pun! Because it anatomoically responsible Aloe Vera but it exchanges CO2 for Oxygen!

Those space heaters produce enough light to keep the dupes in the closest cots awake at night. Makes the dupes that need a night light a little more acceptable in the early game. Also, the initial wood pile holds the same amount as a storage locker but at 4 times the size. I immediately deconstructed it and built the research station on that side.
Toss small batteries between the cots. Decor loss not sleep loss
the dupes need to build a teleporter and go back in time to 1800's and help the people of frostpunk.
Oxylite emits 100% to O2. It's only 50% if its unmined. 3,3 Aloe per dupe is enough. I've got 30 plants as my only O2 source for 8 dupes with oxylite to spare

It looks like gravitas building on bottom right spawned at biomes border, so there are heat breach. You probably want to insulate that breach ASAP.
Cinnabar turns into gaseous mercury, just like in real life. this is due to difference in cinnabar melting point (580 C) and mercury boiling (357 C).

I have to accept that I still have not actually "beaten" the base game or DLC. Massive lag keeps putting an end to my playthroughs. I hope they keep working on performance.
Yah when I get to the point where the critters are teleporting into random tiles because I panned across the map I start over. And I can't blame it on pacu on this map but I did find a small army of shinebugs.
That looks soo cool, you got me into ONI like 2 weeks ago and it's a major change, for once i can make heat without having that much of a problem, or would I ?
all the starter plants needs it cool (below -14C) so if you just make a lot of heat they die (and most of the flooring is now of ice, so that will need replacing too)

they didn't that is the reason you need the wood stove in the bedroom :)
